who finances phineas and ferbs experiments? they use so much equipment and materials every episode and just don't understand.
do they have summer jobs that pay rlly, rlly well? are their parents secretly billionaires? is the reason Perry the Platypus is a secret agent bc he's the one paying for it all? do they run a favour based system, in return for materials they'll fix tech? do they just walk out onto the street and find the exact right things they need? do people donate?
Even when he has a shitty team, he can carry them to victory.
But here he was, playing against some ‘ynzieyums’ and their shitty team, and losing.
“I’ve never even heard of her.”
And suddenly, his interest was peaked.
☆ !! —
I was in the middle of my battle when asks and donations kept coming in, “wow, chat is blowing up right now. where did all of you come from?” I take a quick look at my viewer count and see the significant compared to literally 5 minutes ago.
“am I cheating? what kind of question is that when you can perfectly see me and my screen.” I had just gotten the upper hand, again, and was on the way to my 7th consecutive win.
I guess I understand where they’re coming from.
Still, “Why is everyone asking me that?”
I look over at chat for a few seconds when I can, and all I see is the name ‘kodzuken’ pop up.
“you’re playing against kodzuken and winning?” I read aloud a comment, “chat, will you attack me if I say I don't know who that is.”
the answer to that is apparently yes.
even more people start to comment, “how do you not know kodzuken?” and “I came from his stream to see who you were.” and other variants.
To be fair, I’m fairly new to this streaming community, only starting a few months ago, so I’m not up to date, per se, with all the popular streamers.
“wait, so he is like, really good?” I ask, focusing back on my game and trying to find the user that has “kodzuken” on it.
luckily for me, I wasn’t the only one seeking the other out.
“got ya.” and I immediately start spamming my keys, utilizing all my attacks and not giving him a chance to breathe.
it was 1v1, and very clear who won the battle.
“you know, if he’s so good, why did a newbie streamer just beat him?”
and that seemed to anger all his fans in my chat.
after reading a particularly nasty comment, I knew I had to do damage control.
“woah guys, lets all chillax! I may be a new streamer, but I know this game. let’s just see who wins this round and then you can say whatever.”
and so I did what I do best.
I played.
and, to only his fans shock, I won.
“cmon guys, it’s not that deep! I’m the best at this game, is all!” I gloat happily, smiling widely at my cam and to chat.
and while I was reading the chat, I saw the name kodzuken as someones user “refuckingmatch.” was the comment.
“you want a rematch? is this even the real kodzuken?” I ask skeptically.
I’ve have way too many impersonators in the past.
and everyone in the chat started to confirm it was as well, so I had to take their word.
“I mean, I was going to log off after that, but if you really want to lose one more timeee, how could I say no?” I say, smiling to the camera in an innocent way I knew would get sensitive players like him upset.

she was provoking him.
she and her pretty smile (his thoughts) were provoking kenma and it was working.
he quickly types out “join my game right now” sending her a friend request so it was easier to connect.
he watches her read it on stream and accept the request, way too happy to be doing so.
“alright chat, let’s see how good she really is.”
most famous last words said by anybody ever.
Kenma got his ass handed right back to him.
“what the actual hell just happened?” his team wasn’t even bad this time, and he was sure he was on top of his game today.
he wasn’t so sure after playing you.
Kenma’s phone lit up from his desk and saw he got a text from kuroo.
kuro: [ lol you just lost so badly to a newbie, I think you’re losing your touch ]
Kenma flipped off the screen and kuroo was laughing miles away.
for the next two weeks, kenma practically glued himself to his chair and grinded his pc to the floor with how hard he played.
accepting defeat is a little hard for him, if you can’t tell.
and he was one of the top ranked players of that game, so how could he have lost to you?
he wasn’t going down that easily.
☆ !! —
after having played again kodzuken, I did research on him to find out what made him so special.
turns out, he was extremely special.
kenma kozuma, aka kodzuken, is CEO of his own company, an incredibly talented pro gamer, famous on youtube and twitch, friends with such big name people even I knew them, and still doing college.
looking at all his gaming achievements made me feel ever better about my win.
I truly gave the pro a run for his money.
a few days later and it was time for my weekly stream.
“hi chat, how are we today?” I greeted them as I loaded up my signature game, the one that I beat kenma in.
I look at chat to see if anything interesting would pop up and, lo and behold, I see the name kodzuken.
“wow, is that miser kenma kozume I see? come back for another round of total losses?” I taunt with a smirk on my face.
kodzuken: [ I’m not going to lose. get on already. ] is what he commented and I knew I already got under his skin.
my screen finishes loading up and I join the server kenma’s already in.
“men and their pride. they will never learn, will they?” I say as the countdown for the game begins and I immediately get in the zone.
I think what really got to him this time was how quickly it ended.
“I think that’s the shortest game I’ve ever played!” I turn to my cam and speak to it, knowing once again he’d be watching my stream.
“don’t beat yourself up over it. I’m sure you’re used to finishing early anyway.” that joke alone got me a $50 dollar donation.
☆ !! —
kodzuken: [ actually, its a first for me. I like to take my time. ]
kenma sent in chat, ‘two can play that game’ he thought.
and your reaction is exactly what he wanted. your eyes went wide and he could practically feel the heat from your cheeks through the screen.
“well, you sure are taking your time to win!” and kenma smirked as you sent him the game invite this time.
everyone in the chat caught onto the flirting that continued to happen with every rematch you had.
by the end of all the rematches (kenma winning none), the ship name ‘kodzuyums’ was going around in both your chats.
“ew, guys, she’s my biggest enemy. do not ever combine our names like that.” is what he said about it.
but no matter how hard kenma tried to keep a straight face while saying that, a little smile broke through in the end.
chat didn’t stop spamming that word.
kenma was playing a new game he bought before going to bed that night when kuroo called him.
“so, that streamer girl?” was the first thing kuroo said. kenma put his phone on speaker and placed it down so he could still play.
“what about her?” kenma did not feel like reminiscing about his losses right now, so if that’s what this was going to be about, he would hang up.
“you like her.” and even though he couldn’t see kuroo’s face, he knew the exact smirk he had on.
“what are you on about, seriously. are you drunk?” kenma questions, completely offended and thrown off by what kuroo said.
“you can lie to yourself all you want, but I know you dude. you like her and how she’s better ranked than you are, admit it.”
“you’re insane, I’m hanging up. get some sleep.” and kenma ended the call just like that.
kuroo knew right then he was right, even if kenma didn’t know it yet.
☆ !! —
a few days later, after not seeing kenma for a while in my chats, I got a text on instagram from an account I wasn’t following.
it was kodzuken. of course.
what else can I do but accept?
⟣ ⊹ —
kenma: [ hey. how are you so good at that game. ]
[ well hello to you to. what an honor to be interrogated by a pro himself ]
[ theres a tournament coming up and I need you on my team ]
[ a tournament? for the game specifically? ]
[ when? I haven’t heard anything about it. ]
kenma: [ in 2 months. I know some insiders. ]
[so, are you in or not? ]
[ i’m in. tell me the details]
⟣ ⊹ —
the day of the tournament comes around and everyone already knows kenma and I are on the same team.
we couldn’t keep it a secret even if we tried— and we did try.
I was nervous about today. It would be my first time meeting him in person since our first interaction almost 3 months ago.
I know I have nothing to be nervous about, but I couldn’t help the butterflies that flew around in my stomach.
so what if I’ve had a little crush growing for him? god forbid a girl starts liking a guy who she wins against all the time and talks to every day.
I was waiting outside the building like we agreed upon when I hear someone say my name, and it’s a voice I’m much too familiar with.
a voice I hear even in my dreams.
I turn around and am immediately starstruck, “kenma.”
It’s really him, in all his undyed roots and baggy clothes glory.
“hey. ready to get going?” he says, as if this is an every day occurrence.
“yeah, yeah, let’s head in.” I try to follow his lead and be calm but as I follow behind him, the butterflies in my stomach get worse.
we walk into the building and theres already someone that leads us to where we need to be and helps us set up.
“okay, we’ll be starting in half an hour. we advise you to stay in your area, but you are free to go wherever you want.” we were told, and then left completely alone.
we both just sat at our setups in silence, the tension growing every second.
“um.” was all I managed to get out. I wanted to slam my head against my computer screen.
“are you hungry?” he asked all of a sudden.
“a little. I only had a small breakfast before coming here.” I answer him, and he gave me a nod before standing up and leaving me alone.
what the hell.
“so far so great!” I say to myself sarcastically.
kenma was only gone for a few minutes though, before coming back with a tray of food in his hands.
he left to get me food.
so maybe this crush was actually a big one.
“the food here is good. I don’t know what you like, but I know everyone likes ramen so.” he puts the tray down in front of me and I almost want to kiss him.
I decide it’s the hunger talking.
“thank you.” I smile at him instead and I can see the pink on his cheeks before he looks away.
“you know, I really like our whole “enemies to friends” situation.” I say, taking a bite of ramen into my mouth and immediately feeling so much better.
“who’s saying you aren’t my enemy anymore? I still need to beat you one day.” and although his tone is serious, the look on his face is entirely different.
“just for today then. win with me.” I extend my hand out for a fist bump and he smiles at me.
“just for today. we’re going to the next level, together.” and he hits his fist against mine.
oh, we’re so winning this.
I’m never wrong.
“and the final win goes to kodzuyums!” our team name appeared on the big screen announcing the winners and the audience around us erupted in applause.
I jumped out my seat in excitement and pulled kenma out of his, hugging him and making him jump around with me.
“we won! kenma, we won!”
“of course we did— okay, you’re hurting me.” he said, yet made no effort to escape my grasp.
“oh, I’m just so happy!” I pull away from him first, actually listening to his plea, but I grab his hands instead and hold them to my heart.
“do you feel how fast my heart is beating? I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy.” I look into his eyes and he looks right back into me,
and the moment is so intimate, for a moment I think he’s going to kiss me.
and he almost does. we’re both leaning in and stop just inches away from each others lips; then, as if remembering our current situation, we pull away from each other.
“sorry, you’re gonna have to wait for it until I beat you.” he whispered in my ear, and that was better than the feeling of winning.
we walk out that tournament smiling, together, and as winners. I know I’ll always remember this as our turning point.
as the day kenma kozume and I officially started our journey together.
Crack Bfsmp/Vsmp theory. What if Bf!Scott is Scott Goldsmith before he got turned. Like bfsmp is the medieval smp if you fudge the timelines enough it might work. Anyway that's my stupid theory.
