His face shifted as he went through the motions - confusion, surprise, deep thoughts-- his mind was racing as fast as his feet usually did.
⠀⠀⠀Sonic's expression changed, a wide, warm smile spreading across his muzzle, arms throwing up into the air. A happy, excited tone filled the room as he spoke, his smile only growing wider.

⠀⠀⠀Such blatant disregard for decorum for royalty was hardly something Sonic was a stranger to, he always seemed to be causing trouble for the residents of some kingdom somewhere. He couldn't help it, it was just his nature to share the things he loved with the people he loved, and there was nothing he loved more than the feeling of the wind rushing through his quills.
⠀⠀⠀"I'll bet bein' stuck in this castle all day long drives ya crazy, huh Elara? If ya want, I can take ya across the country in a matter of seconds! Fastest thing alive, remember?"
