Who are your top Jojo-spouses?

Oh whoa fam. That’s a hard question. I have… Way too many tbh. But I’ll separate them into male and female categories, five each + honorable mentions

Male:

1. Diego Brando. He’s a major hottie who kinda has a better personality than the OG Dio. Maybe it’s due to the fact he feels more human to me than Dio.

2. Ghiaccio. Boi it’s the glasses, and all the fanart I look at of him. He’s so hot. Omg, and Idk. He’s an angry boi, but I still like him for it.

3. Weather Report. His crotch guard is a definite plus, and I like his chill personality.

4. Risotto Nero. Damn his chest and coolness, and edginess. His stand is adorable to me, idk why.

5. Joshuu Higashikata. Uhhhhh. Hehehehehe. Trash boi is great and I don’t care what anyone else says.

Just JoJo Thoughts: Yukako, The Only One Exempt from my Hatred of Yanderes

Yanderes disgust me (no offense to all you Yandere lovers out there): They are obsessive, batshit insane, possessive, toxic, forces of nature only the police or an army can handle. I can’t understand why anyone would like to be in a relationship with one, people pls enlighten me.

But somehow, I like Yukako, but why? I mean, I disliked her when she first introduced, but she grew on me, unlike other Yanderes Hey Yuno Gasai I’m Looking at you, psycho.

In order to further understand why I grew to like Yukako, I try to piece together my thoughts. What makes Yukako such a good romantic partner? What made me start shipping her with Koichi? What makes her human as a fictional character?

That’s when it hit me, the second time we saw her in DiU, she was a changed woman: she was more insecure, she learned from her mistakes, she wanted Koichi to forgive her for her wrong doings, she wanted to change, she wanted Koichi to like her. She was gonna change how she looked for Koichi in order for him to like her more and she was already gorgeous as a person.

I thought to myself:

‘Yukako is such a girl. She’s such a normal girl for thinking that.’

It’s odd. Normal and Yukako should not be in the same sentence but there it is. I related to her struggles, I felt the anguish of not being comfortable in her own body, the trouble of love, the trouble of getting someone to love and forgive her for something so inexcusable.

Yukako has earned my sympathy as a teenage girl makes other teen girls and women who go through the same troubles of love and not being comfortable in their own skin and use plastic surgery (or you know, the make up) to make us more beautiful, when it reality too much of it would make us ugly.

And then Koichi falls in love with her, but not because of the plastic surgery, no. He saw through that, and loves her for her personality (excusing her yandere nature as something as ‘insanely tough love’), and with that makes for one of my favorite couples of all time.

But, why is Koichi and Yukako one of my favorite couples? What makes them a good couple? What even makes a good relationship?

For the character prompt gimme all that yummy Risotto.

1. My exact thoughts were ‘Holy shit that pose doh (and dem pecs).’

2. His eyes, most definitely. And how great his fight was between him and Doppio/Diavolo. (Also makes me think of how he was able to control Narancia’s Aerosmith at the end, I watched a theory that maybe controlling other stands through Metallica was his stand’s true ability, and interestingly enough, one of Metallica’s songs is called ‘Master of Puppets’, so I’m like fuck Metallica and Risotto is OP, and that is no coincidence because Araki don’t do that… sometimes).

3. His pecs. My eyes like literally cannot stop staring. I mean, you can’t deny that Risotto is fine (rhyme intended).

4. His design is like an atheistic: his pants, the belt, the fucking trenchcoat that I want to own in my closet, his hat with all the little balls on it. He’s so different and distinctive. I want to dress like him, but I’ll only look short and fat and ugly. Lmao

5. Backstory, his motives, how he interacted with all the other members of his squad. I like to think that he parallels Abbachio from Bruno’s gang (except I don’t think Risotto would piss in cups tbh), I mean, come on, his cousin died and he spiraled into the mafia. Abbachio’s partner died and he spiraled into the mafia. I’d like to think La Squadra parallels Bruno’s gang. The similarities are there guys. I can make a separate post about it tbh.

6. Um. ProsciuttoRisotto. The fanart of them is so good I can’t even. Like the fanart made me ship them.

7. Edgy and hot.

8. -Risotto dyes his hair purple and was originally a blue-eyed kid.

-Liked to play with magnets when he was younger

-A curious, stoic, and smart boi, most likely an angel.

Just JoJo Questions and Thoughts: Dino Boi Be Short

Okay fam, so I just read on the JoJo wikipedia that Diego is a below-average height man, and according to the Interweb, the average white male height is 5ft 10 in, and the tallest jockey is 5 ft 6in and the shortest being 4 ft 10 in. Now imagine Diego being around that height frame. Frick I might be the same as Diego and that scares me, but there’s no way he’s just 5 ft. So I’ll put him at 5ft 6in.

Just imagine, Diego’s s/o just being hella tall, where he has to crane his neck to look up at them and he has to like pull them down to get a kiss. That’s just so different, that I might actually like that. I doubt the power dynamics would change though (Diego will do his damn hardest to make sure he’s the dominant one in the bedroom), but hey I’m down for a dominant s/o and a sub Diego.

(Do you guys want more of these segment things where I just talk about Jojo? Tbh it’s a good way for me to expand on my thoughts about Jojo. I even have a couple of theories.)

It depends lmao. Sometimes I can stay up until 4 in the morning or just sleep at 10. There is no inbetween.

I’m more closer to my mom even though we have a lot of spats together (my fault mostly). My dad not so much. My parents are divorced so I don’t really see him often.
