okay so does Simon know that choose goose is not his only option to use as a spell battery because a) he could drop his morals a little and kidnap any wizard off the street or b) if it has to be a particular brand of dark magic then I have great news about what’s just leaking under this stupid school offscreen in the city. you don’t even have to hurt anyone you can just put the baggie clips on dead monster guts.
