Ngl Traveler deciding to become a Harbinger for the purpose of getting the Tsaritsa’s attention would be hilarious.

Nah but seriously. The Traveler becoming a fatui harbinger to get the Tsaritsa’s attention is exactly the type of bullshit they would pull.
The Traveler’s only ever had issues with the Fatui’s methods, tbh. They’ve gotten along with more Fatuus than the Harbingers. Long as they are directly harming innocent people, particularly to Traveler’s knowledge, or hindering Traveler’s journey? They’re pretty chill with the Fatui.
Hell, with Lyney & Lynette? The issue wasnt that they were fatuus. The issue was that they LIED about it. First off, it hurt because Traveler considered them friends. (Childe never once bothered hiding his Fatui allegiance. He just.. wasnt fully clear about the Harbinger thing.)
But Traveler was also defending them in court. In a murder trial. That would have been some pretty damn useful information to have!
It was a betrayal of trust. It wasnt actually truly based in their identity as a fatuus operative.
Traveler is also pretty.. dedicated to their goals. Rmb Inazuma? They wanted to talk to Raiden. They did not give a fuck about the Inazuman’s plight tbh. They were angry and focused. And then their friend got involved, and their conscience kicked back in against their will.
I imagine that they will be similarly hyperfocused in Snezhnaya.
Particularly so, because somethings wrong with Paimon. I wouldnt be surprised if it ended up that the response they get to trying to figure it out ended up being ‘Idk, ask the Tsaritsa?’
And then like. “How?” “… idk. Tbh she really only interacts with the Harbingers.” “… welp, time for a change in profession.”
Traveler does NOT fuck around about their Paimon.
‘Ei-realm’ is also what the TPS mode is in. That lil abyss lookin place.
Tbf, i dont actually think this is a Harbinger recruitment thing at all. I imagine that its a recruitment program specifically for dealing with the ‘ei-realm’, which sufficient efforts will garner the Tsaritsa’s acknowledgment. Thats basically what it says lmao.
That does seem more likely to me than them straight up having a Harbinger recruitment program. Especially since it’s a druzhna thing - which is an entirely separate organization to the Fatui.
People just saw ‘Harbinger’ and ran with it..
But the idea of Traveler becoming a Fatui to talk to the Tsaritsa about Paimon being sick is really fucking funny.
