-The threads that tie-
Wrap around my shaking hands as I plead for you to return. But the broke trust lies like nails on the ground as your tears like acid scorch the earth and my heart.
I had once proclaimed I would not be the same. The suffering you felt would no more be for my hungry ideals.
I believed in a truth that the past could not harm the present. It was that lie that caused you to run while I pleaded a truth you could not bear to hear.
Then you were gone.
Gone gone gone.
Vanished without a trace or a print.
You had been persued by two I prayed could do more for you then I could.
One vanished with you. One was told to stay behind.
I cannot look him in the eyes. He's angry at me. You two had become so close.
Bear me down on my hands and knees. I plea for mercy as the dreams they scream.
I stare in the mirror and the reflection has his eyes yet they are mine. The demon I could have been yet I am not the angel I should have been.
I hide my sins yet they poisoned your veins and now they infest your mind. I want to hold you again but you are not in my reach.
I am trapped in the castle forged by us and the us below.
You had been born the sacrifice but I will take your place upon the strings and use them to suffocate both the reflection and me.
