My Opinions on Pjo Ep1

So I watched the new pjo series a few days ago (couldn't write this then coz I had to go to a night camp).

It was good, but really not GREAT. For a number of reasons,

The Ms.Dodds fight was a let down. Heck can it even be called a fight? The sword just appeared and impaled him after she pinned him down. And it happened in a public place too.

How did Nancy fly into the fountain? Percy can't do that. It would've been much cooler and made more sense if they showed the water actually grabbing her.

Percy knows about Greek mythology. Technically, it makes sense how Sally and Grover taught him to help him prepare, but in the book, he's just a typical American 12yo. He doesn't know about monsters and swords and Gods. It would've been funnier if he said "What the heck is that thing?" Or something along those lines instead of "Is that the Minotaur?" The whole reason he even needs Annabeth at first is so that she could tell him about mythology.

No string cutting??? No three fates??? No impending doom???

This Gabe does not deserve to die. When we first meet Gabe in the book, he is playing poker with a bunch of drunkards, yells at Percy for money, and makes Sally do all his work. This Gabe just seems like a normal douche. Bad, but definetely NOT worth killing. Plus Sally argues back which makes no sense. Sally needs Gabe around to keep Percy safe. Why would she risk him leaving her? The "please" scene was just garbage. Is this cause they decided that no "weak" female leads are allowed or some shit?

Percy doesn't panic enough. In the TV show, he seems like the type to internally panic. And, admittedly, I haven't read the books in a long while,but as far as I can remember, he goes "OmG GrOvEr Y iS tHeRe A HaLf DonkEy In Ur PaNtS?!?!" Or smtn along those lines, not "Grover, why is there a half goat in your pants?"

Who cares about the bloodthirsty monster, let's have a heart-to-heart. That scene just suckes. What was the monster doing while Sally sprouted all her "I love u"s and "I'm so proud of u"s and "u r not broken, Percy, u r SiNgUlAr"s and a bunch of other shit that I wasn't listening to coz I was too busy yelling at them to move?

Sally fights the Minotaur??? In conclusion, I really don't like this Sally. (Especially the way she talks).
