Everyone seems to want to contact me over direct messaging, and I'm both flattered and intimidated. Too intimidated to actually answer any of the messages. My dad should probably learn that people want to talk to me, because he does deserve to know. He's like my only friend in real life, so I should probably tell him about the mild acquaintances I seem to have on here.

But I'm still too nervous to tell him all of that, and I'm too nervous myself to reply to any of the direct messages. I'm appreciative of every single one, but I can't work up the nerve to respond to any of them. I'm sorry about that to everyone who messages me. Because I do feel bad not responding. But my nerves are simply too bad to risk interactions like that.

2022 taught me the meaning of friendship and I honestly don't mean that in a fun loving way. I mean it in a "these people shouldn't be calling themselves your friend then treat you so poorly." way. I also learned what it means to have people who care and are there for me and I'm able to be for them. People seem to learn about what the positives are but not be taught how to identify what a bad friend is both what it is to be one and how to identify one.
