Ngl, i know Sam said that at the end of the day it is not really important to know when Lestat wrote the letter for Louis (the one he reads at the lawyer office in Paris) but having seen a bit of season 3 now and having rewatched season 1, i am actually SO curious to know when he wrote the letter. Was it before the ball was even mentionned or was it just as soon as it was planned? Was it after knowing for sure Claudia and Louis's plan to kill him? Was it even before all of that, in their happy times? Like i need to KNOW...what are yall's thoughts??

I'm counting the hobbit as part of lotr, and extended tolkien works like unfinished tales and CoH etc as silmarillion
