People stop being weird about what other people ship challenge and trying to find reasons why they're morally superior for not shipping it
#I'm seeing#a frankly ridiculous amount of posts recently#that's like#making non-romamtic friendships romantic by shipping them is WRONG and ACEPHOBIC and WEIRD#dude#nobody is saying you have to ship them#but like#why are you feeling morally superior over your textual reading#it's FANDOM#asdfhjjgffhjj#okay we are far enough down in the tags now for me to admit this is about grace/rocky#I like both queer platonic romantic and other reads of their dynamic#I have read all#BUT#I do think#people think it's 'weird' to ship attractive Ryan gosling with this rock creature#and so are making up reasons why they're morally superior for liking it as only platonic#and it's like#yeah it's a movie about friendship and that's wonderful#but so is lord of the rings#so is pretty much every v popular m/m pairing in a TV show or movie#and you can appreciate that and also sometimes ship those people or write fic or whatever#idk man#stop shaming those guys!!! it means nothing!! it's just fandom!!
