Just wanted to mention that the confetti on the "last day" in the "documentary" is the same confetti that's used at the graduation in the epilogue
Sure, this could just be because they had leftovers of that confetti after shooting the graduation scene - but even then, aren't the colours suspicious?
Red/orange, white and black. Not the most festive colours. Not even a colour combo that makes sense? I don't think I've ever seen that mix for confetti in real life.
And sure, it could make sense for the "wrap party" (Stranger Things often having red and black, red and white or black and white in their merch and such), but in-universe? That's not their school colours. It's also not colours you'd typically pair with celebrations.
And I only just thought of this - I truly only wanted to talk about the confetti in this post, but it reminded me of a comment from the costume designer for The First Shadow (I made this post talking about said comment and other suspicious stuff as well).
"The students put on a play called The Dark of the Moon. And that is, sort of feeds through the whole storyline." "I felt very strongly when we developed it that it should be quite different to the rest, so the play is in black and white. The scenery is black and white. The costumes are black and white. Just to make sure the audience sort of understands: okay this is a costume within the play" "Well, this is one of the play costumes. There are two of these costumes. One of them is just in white without the bloodstain."
And as I mentioned in the other post, those comments made me think of the credits in the finale...
