How would Steven act with another diamond hybrid?
//Depends on the hybrid and their personality!
//If it’s a yellow diamond hybrid that acts like Yellow would (raised on Homeworld), he’d have a passive aggressive relationship with them. If it’s a hybrid that was raised on Earth, he’d immediately start being a nuisance every chance he gets.
//If it’s a blue diamond hybrid raised on Homeworld, or raised on Earth, he’d be friends with them whichever way it goes; though depending on that hybrid’s personality he’s either going to tease them constantly, or “encourage” them to follow his every word and whim. Or be like that one annoying older sibling who won’t leave you alone (but you know they care about you)
//Any Pink Diamond hybrid usually immediately gets bullied, he believes he is the only and the best pink diamond cut there is out there. Though if that pink diamond hybrid is taller and stronger than him (think kenji-benji’s old Pink Diamond AU, if anyone knows of it!) he’ll be a little intimidated, but pretends not to be and still tries to be mean himself. After all, he’s the more superior diamond! But also, if it’s a pink diamond hybrid like in the Perfect Steven AU or Homeworld Steven AU, he’d at least try to be friends with them. (My Steven canonically looks up to Azul’s Perfect, and feels like an older sibling figure to Homeworld Steven)
//White diamond hybrids…. He’d likely avoid interacting with them at all if possible. If it’s a Steven like @/thechekhov’s Steven, and that Steven actively attempted to befriend him, he might warm up to them slowly, but for the most part, just the sight of White’s gem, if visible on any Steven, will cause him to shut down and be scared (for now). Although he would be comfortable around my own take of White Diamond Steven, were they to meet.
