Heavenly Creatures (gay and good), Collateral Beauty, Revolutionary Road (has some intense angsty and slightly DVesque scenes), The Dressmaker (super snarky kate, great movie), Labor Day, Mildred Pierce (miniseries that was surprisingly good), The Reader (but this is about an older woman with a minor so you have to decide how you feel about that), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is decent. These are probably the best Kate Winslet movies that I've seen so far.

and I forgot about mildred pierce! I remember watching some of that years ago with my mom and //all// I remember is that she had 2 daughters and the cute, nice one died from a disease and the other one was a downright horrible bitch who unfortunately lived and screwed over her mom (I think?)

10. Describe the best date you’ve been on. My first with my wife was a wonderful disaster that I look back on very fondly. I made an absolute fool of myself (in fact YEARS later she let me know that- in addition to getting us LOST FOR AN HOUR trying to find this diner I wanted to go to- that during lunch I accidentally ate the blue colored plastic toothpick top and didn't know it). Date ended with her asking if I wanted to join her and her roommate for a movie and I said no and basically RAN AWAY because it went well and she was way out of her league and in my mind I needed to go before I ruined it.
11. Describe the worst date you’ve been on. My friend set me up with this guy in 10th grade. His name was Chris, he was from another school and he was gross. It was a double date and he was a pig. He was all over me physically, belittled everything I liked and said ,and when we saw a movie and he tried to stick his (large) nose in my ear??? Later he tried to kiss me even as I pulled away? Please know, I was giving him NO SIGNALS this was something I wanted right up to saying, “please don’t touch me”. I ran away at the end of that date too... I purposely got on the train going the other way, because it came first and I NEEDED TO GO.
18. Favorite lesbian movie? Saving Face or Kiss Me. Shout out to D.E.B.S and But I'm a Cheerleader, too.
20. Favorite lesbian song? Does "Sonny Came Home" count? I always interpreted that as some woman finally coming out to her abusive husband and burning their whole world to the ground as she finally became the strong, independent lesbian she always wanted to be. If not, than Robyn's "call your girlfriend" (also not a gay song). Though... basically any song is a lesbian song right? If so than the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles song from the early 90's cartoon is my final answer because I was OBSESSED for years and should have known I was queer at that point tbh.
22. What lesbian stereotypes do you fit into, if any? I'm married to a woman, we adopted a kid and we have a cat so?
36. The L-Word: yes or no? (love it or hate it?) HATE. Maybe the worst show of all time. And I watched every awful moment because when you’re in the desert, you’ll drink the sand.
