Having spent the last 2 days in bed recivering from all night throwing up,dehydration and joint pain all linked with my spinal cord injury-paralysis . I learnt while it is such a relief to just stay in bed bed and no longer function by being upa bd about that is not my way. I go through all my hard painful challenges so i can keep moving forward. I remind myself how far i have come and this is another chore i have to go through yo be happy again. Im blessed to have a understanding family even though i feel a big burden on them but they remind me im not and that it is just life and life goes on . That is definitely true.... while i have my difficult spell life does still go around me and that is exactly what i say to myself while im in bed that i must continue living from just getting out of bed and getting washed is an action of moving forward no matter how painful it is. My body is drained and i know i have to nurition it not just with food but with a positive mindset which i get when i see my daughter who still loves me when i am unable to hug her or even be with her for 2 days. I hope this short story gives you a sense of appreciation that no matter how your feeling life still has to continue it is up to you on how you want it to continue through the hard work and tasks to rebuild your health dor the easy way by stop doing anything and stay in bed.
