I like more characters! I have a favorite character for every book and show and movie and whatnot! I like Arjuna (Mahabharata) and Odysseus (Iliad/Odyssey) and Robb Stark (ASOIAF) and Arthur Pendragon (BBC Merlin) and Derek Hale (Teen Wolf) and Rin Matsuoka (Free!) and Wolfram von Bielefeld (Kyou Kara Maou) and Rachel (Animorphs) and the Weasley Twins (Harry Potter) and--others! Lots of others!

Just. I can’t put anyone else on the same list as Dick Grayson and Bucky Barnes. I don’t like any of them that much.

Favorite Books:

Assuming this is talking about published stories and I can’t include fanfics, this list consists entirely of my childhood favorites, because no book I’ve read since then has stuck with me the way these stories have. I read all the epics in prose form. The first four were the bedtime stories my parents were sick of repeating by the time I was like, five, and I read all of these as soon as I could spell out the words and understand the sentences. Every single one of these was a first love for me.

Last Movie I’ve Seen in Cinemas: Jurassic World. I watch two movies in theater per year. In 2016 that’s gonna be Captain America: Civil War and Batman v Superman.

Dream Holiday: Eurotrip, for sure.

Dream Wedding: Marriage is not my thing but if I can ditch the groom part of the wedding I really really really want a traditional Bangladeshi wedding so I can get dressed up and dolled up all expensive and professionally and do magazine photoshoots and get sat on a beautifully decorated stage for kids to stumble over the pretty princess they all want to touch and for adults to ogle and compliment and take photos with and whisper about--how much that tissue chiffon sari-thing cost and where that gemstone-laden jewelry was imported from and where did she get her makeup done is that really her natural skin tone or do you think the parlor just used lighter foundation--behind my back while I sit there and bask in the attention and pretend I can’t hear them because everyone knows they’re really just jealous and--yeah basically I just want a Bangladeshi wedding minus the groom. The bride at a Bangladeshi wedding is literally the centerpiece, the star attraction, the main event. And I’m a narcissist.

I don’t want to get married, but I do want that wedding.

Dream Job: Literary critic. I just want to read really good stories and tell people what I thought of them. Unfortunately in order to get there you first have to be an accomplished writer which, yeah, I wish.

i’m gonna start watching Kings tomorrow because even though i’m pissed that they took one of the most prominent queer relationships in religious/historical text and ruined it by not having the relationship at all (hello straight David), the show looks tragic enough that i might end up liking it despite my anger towards it. besides, i want to know once and for all if the show’s actually worth watching or if Sebastian Stan’s face is the only good thing in it.

so. has anyone here seen Kings? i need a friend.

oh shit really? i have to think about this? i thought someone else would do it for me but okay i thought about it whoops.

steve. steve is the stucky cannibal. i know everyone would think bucky but i think it would be steve because steve is the one who’s solid in his convictions. he’s not a follower. he knows what he wants and how to get it and if he wants HUMAN FLESH HE’S GETTING SOME SON. also steve has an outer persona: captain america. he hides behind a made up persona already and he’s never what anyone expects. we have tiny mob boss steve killing for his neighborhood or bucky so i don’t see why we can’t have tiny cannibal steve rogers who EATS BULLIES HE EATS THE FUCK OUT OF THEM. no but seriously it would be steve because steve has his own set of morals and a very concrete sense of right and wrong that’s tailored to him and if that involves cannibalism well so be it.

bucky, like will, is more of a follower, right? relatively speaking. he’s got a ton of potential but he needs someone else (namely steve) to give him direction. so steve meets him and bucky turns out to be the perfect cannibal partner because he’s like a bloodhound you point him in one direction and he go go goes. and he gets steve in a way others don’t. like one of bucky’s v. important character traits that don’t ever get mentioned is how amazing he is at judging other people. steve didn’t really choose bucky; bucky chose steve at the very beginning. he saw steve’s worth before anyone else did--before even steve did--and that would carry over to this au. bucky isn’t just smart, he looks at steve and can look past whatever outer suit he’s build up and steve is so impressed and turned on and he’s like oh shit i love him but i also want to eat him??? anyway point is they fall in love and become murder husbands and yeah that’s all i got but feel free to add on!

LOL  yeah, it’s funny how many companies market americana style clothing. Like I never see people here with other countries’ flags...except maybe the Union Jack?

...Actually my fiance has a giant Union Jack up in our loft because he’s a big nerd.
