Magilou paces around the edge of the pit that mark’s Spirale City’s center. This strange land had many mysteries to it, and yet this one and the ever-present fog nagged hardest in her mind. That and the question of her arrival. But that was something she could put aside. There were deeper, darker questions to answer today. Some people gathered around had opted to throwing rocks into it, or whatever debris they could find. That simply wouldn’t do. She wasn’t truly a scientist, but she did know the value of good practice. “My, my...I think this is definitely the pittiest pit I’ve seen in quite some time. There doesn’t even seem to be an end to it.” She says just loud enough for any passersby to hear. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say this was a bonafide gateway to hell itself.”
“Yes, I see it clearly now. A void, where all the regrets and fears of this world get thrown. Maybe even a ritualistic sacrifice or two.” At this point she glances over at one of the people who happens to be in her vicinity, and offers her a wide grin. “What do you think could’ve caused all this damage? It seems to me that the gods themselves were angered.”
