Amazing points! I think Klaus would help her if he was attracted to her, but it’s a toss-up whether he’d form that kind of attachment if they first crossed paths in season two. It’s a hard sell whether you’re a “Klaus was interested in Care because of Tyler truther” (which I am) or you believe he was interested in her personality (which is probably partially true).
Personally, I think he started paying attention because of Tyler and she ended up being his type—but in season one she’s being put down so often that her self-esteem is at an all-time low, and she doesn’t yet have the confidence she builds in seasons two and three. So who knows if he’d give her the time of day.
I made a different post about this, but I think Rebekah showed us in the casket girls episode of TO that she’d likely be willing to help because it costs her nothing to do so and she would not be in competition with her at that point, so I don’t think her internalized misogyny would stop her. Also, I think Damon would immediately piss her off, and she might clock that Stefan is—at least at the start of season one—worried about how Damon is treating Caroline and do it for the brownie points it would win her.

I'm of the opinion that Klaus' whole thing with Caroline started because of his fascination with further infiltrating Elena, Tyler and Stefan's lives (so basically, I might not be giving Caroline any credit for him liking her for her personality, but we didn't actually see him get a glimpse of her personality until he was suddenly attracted to her so I'm standing by it).
Ironically, I think Klaus would like the mean girl thing season one Caroline has going on, but she wouldn't have the proper attitude to be dealing with him anymore than she dealt with anyone else in season one, and it would lead to an entirely different sort of toxic mess (doubly so because Klaus, like Damon, is obsessed with Stefan and therefore would still do things to get his attention, imo. Just not the way Damon went about it).
I can 100% see Rebekah taking charge for all of those reasons. She's not completely averse to helping out without getting something in return when the mood strikes her! And, welllllll, I find it hard to believe Damon WOULDN'T piss her off.
I also think Rebekah would've been swindled by Elena's big brown doe eyes and Bonnie's vibes and eventually enticed into being friends with barolena if she met them without any of her brothers around, as long as, you know.... we ignore the Stefan of it all.
