Hi Flamby, wondering if I could ask more about the Icehorn dragon you created? I’m interested in what the species is like since it has significance to our main Aarkar protagonist. It looks similar to a Skril, but with its own unique facial structure and features. Is more in line to ice elemental alignment much like a Bewilderbeast and a Sandwraith.
What class is it in? What are there main habits and hunting strategies? What’s there breath weapon like? Do they have a powerful reputation or legend among vikings? Has Hiccup and the dragon riders ever met one? And will we know more about them in the story?

Hi! Okay! First, here is some information about the Ice-Horns:
The Ice-Horns is a dragon of the Strike class. It has a gray/blue body that provides near-perfect stealth in icy waters, and yellow eyes that pierce through blizzards and dark waters. Although it has four legs, its front legs are too short for walking. It therefore uses its broad wings for moving. The Ice-Horns has small, sharp teeth on the upper part of its jaw and three long tusks on each side of its lower jaw, designed to grasp and tear its prey. Its arrow-shaped head allows it to dart through the water at terrifying speeds. It has a long tail with eight protrusions at the base and tip. Its broad wings allow the Ice-Horns to fly as well as swim, and at very high speeds. The six horns on its head, resembling ice spikes (hence its name), may have a crystalline structure rather than being entirely organic.
The female has a longer nasal horn than the male and displays darker colors that allow her to better camouflage herself in the deeper waters where she lays her eggs.
The Ice-Horns possesses a reservoir it uses to store water. When it spits it out, the water emerges as a thick, freezing vapor that instantly chills its target. This also allows it to create large ice surfaces when directed at large bodies of water such as lakes or rivers. The Ice-Horns can breathe ice as many times as it has water remaining. When its water supply runs out, it dives, mouth open, to replenish it. This dragon cannot therefore survive for long in arid environments.
This stored water can also be released as sweat through its legs, which also allows it to freeze anything that comes into contact with them.
The Ice-Horns possesses incredibly keen hearing and sense of touch. It perceives the slightest vibration in the water and in the air during a blizzard. It can predict weather changes by sensing the air.
Hunting Abilities and Behavior
The Ice-Horns is incredibly fast in aquatic environments. Flying during a snowstorm increases its flight speed. In the air, its specialty is diving at high speed to seize its prey in its jaws. In the water, it becomes a veritable torpedo. On land, it uses its powerful tail and wing hooks to fight when its opponent is too heavy to catch. If its opponent is large and heavier, it will instead try to immobilize it with ice, targeting the legs or the base of the wings.
This highly intelligent dragon is not known for being sociable; it is a solitary hunter. If nothing threatens its territory, it will likely flee or hide until the intruder leaves. Otherwise, or if its eggs are nearby, it will kill the intruder without hesitation.
The Ice-Horns doesn't have very thick skin but possesses exceptional endurance. It can thus fly or swim for long periods. It does not breathe underwater but can hold its breath for hours, which goes hand in hand with its great patience.
In arid or, more generally, drier environments, the Ice-Horns would be unable to breath ice and would be incredibly slowed down. It has a very low tolerance for intense heat.
While the Ice-Horns possesses excellent vision and sensory abilities to spot its prey from afar, its close-up vision is very poor. Therefore, if this dragon happens to miss its target on the first try (because it is extremely accurate), it will have difficulty refocusing unless it moves a considerable distance away.
Regarding the legends or reputations among Vikings, or whether Hiccup and the other dragon riders encountered any, I haven't really had time to look into it ^^' ! We'll see in due time. As for whether we'll learn more about them during the story, not necessarily. Or at least, not in the main plot.

(I want to clarify that what I know about the Httyd franchise comes mainly from the films, bc it's been a very long time since I've seen the episodes and there must have been some seasons missing back then 😅... So some characters that everyone talks about, I don't even remember who they are, I really need to catch up XP )
