MH Iceborne Everwyrm Trailer:

So basically, Velkhana and the hunter’s have the same plan in mind, the prevent the Everwyrm’s flood of destruction. However, both sides come into conflict in terms of execution; Velkhana wished to contain the catastrophe by sealing it away in her ice. Seeing that even her power was no longer enough, she used her song to gather all the Legiana for aid, revealing her existence to the Hunting Guild. 

Shortly after, they pursue her into the Hoarfrost Reach to discover the meaning behind her behavior and become aware of the dragon. The Guild, knowing the scale of the threat, plan to kill the Everwyrm before it can cause any damage, but in doing so it must be released. Recognizing this, Velkhana does everything in her power to prevent the hunters from unleashing the dragon. 

That’s basically the plot between your two factions, to be honest, I feel bad for her. She’s just trying to protect the ecosystem from a force she cannot handle directly and is afraid of what human meddling can lead to. A noble task for any elder dragon, who usually recklessly disrupt the environment around them. It’s not like Velkhana wished ill will on the hunter either until now she was merely a myth. But with the seal is breaking and the hunters are encroaching on her land, she’s becoming desperate and violent as a result. If only we could just talk to her instead of killing such a magnificent creature, I dunno I think I’m being too sentimental.

Regardless, I assume no one else is going to care, but I can’t stress enough the new lynian species the Boaboa are one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen in monster hunter. I just want to hug every one of them, apparently, they will send hunting parties to assist in hunts if they like you. 

I am hyped to playthrough Iceborne and see all the new things the game has to offer. We can only imagine what else has yet to revealed and I hope can be genuinely surprised when the time comes.

Monster Hunter Memes:(Iceborne Hype)

While I really like Pukei-Pukei, I’d be all over to see what they could with Chameleos on the World engine. I’d love to see a proper stealth fight in The Ancient Forest, along with a few interactions between monsters.

Admit it, we’ve all been there.

Who knows how many small monsters I’ve seen get butchered in the crossfire of my bigger hunts, regardless if they were fighting or not. 

When I was farming high-rank Odogaron parts. There were these Deviljho that would come out nowhere, snatch up my monster, then proceed to beat the sh*t out me before taking off with my prize.

For all you veterans out there, be a good sport and defend newcomers with your life! They’re the lifeblood of the series and must be protected at all costs to ensure a healthy/friendly player base and provide support for future installments. It also just feels heroic doing it anyway, so why not indulge yourself?

That Acidic Glavenus intro cutscene though, he went Samurai Jack on those toothy lizards. I expect great things from him, Greater than the Girros of course. Anyway, these subspecies look better than ever, can’t wait to see what else is waiting for us in Iceborne.

What would the fanged wyverns even be without the OG Thunderwolf himself, Zinogre? Zinogre being a fan-favorite flagship monster of the same caliber as Tigrex and Nargacuga, is more than deserving to enter Iceborne. His fulgar bugs would look and function spectacularly with World’s aesthetic as well as having a rad subspecies to boot. Wouldn’t to be nice wandering the maps listening to this beast majestic howl into the night sky? 

Seriously guys, if there are any Elder Dragons to Iceborne, THIS SHOULD IT!!! The Four most devasting Dragons in Monster Hunter lore, far beyond the capabilities even the Eater of Elders, Nergigante to tackle. In World’s new engine, all of these monsters can be updated to fit the godly creatures the lore describes them as. We already have the classic Elder skeleton for Alatreon, and we can simply use a new arena map for the Fatalis Trio. Fingers crossed for their return.

Good god, I was hyped for Iceborne as it was, but now I am STOKED!!! MY FAVORITE MONSTER IN WORLD’S ENGINE, IT’S A GREAT TIME TO BE A VETERAN!!! You newcomers are in for one hell of a ride, this ain’t your standard Pukei-Pukei for Kulu Ya Ku. This is an apex predator and it wants to hunt big game, particularly other bird wyverns and hunters. Relentless, cunning, venomous, and energetic it’s an exceptionally difficult monster to overcome. Keep your wits about you and stop moving this fight cause it’ll be screaming in your face the whole time.
