I wish Christian Frost and Bobby's relationship hadn't fallen into Duggan's hands tbh like they could have been so much more interesting...
The fact that Bobby didn't want to help Emma out but did it anyways because he knew he was helping someone out... the way he saw Christian at his literal worst moment when he killed his father and helped save him anyways... one of Bobby's core aspects of his character is being someone who can and will always do the right thing to save someone who's in need of saving, even if they've done something others would call "irredeemable" (i.e. murdering their father)
Christian going against his sister's wishes to thank Bobby for what he did... Everyone else protesting when Christian showed up at Bobby's birthday party but Bobby being immediately willing to hear him out...
Sina Grace set them up to be an interesting pair imho and yet Duggan made them so boring and took away all of Christian's personality. I really hate when a developing character ends up in the wrong writer's hands because now I've mostly been turned off of Christian and Bobby's relationship. They really weren't going anywhere under Duggan and we might never get to see their true potential as a couple.
Christian is a character who is so personal to me, I relate to him on so many levels that it's both concerning and wonderful that I have representation of someone who has very similar traumas to me. He could have gone places in representation for mental illness, they could have explored more what it means to be a mutant burdened with such severe mental illness that Christian has, but he's just been kind of a flat character lately and it makes me sad :/
