The good: Your friend realizing how much her people love her, and starting to regain hope in becoming the kind of ruler she always wished she was. The bad: You realizing you now have to share said friend with ALL OF THEM. Also Icepants, because what would life be without a heavy dose of cynicism? (And here is when you want to kill me because you realize there is a part 3 too, but one which is already in the color stage and will be posted in a few days, I promise, no making you wait for months this time) - Poisond

Well as we said before, you have to see where he’s coming from. In his own way, Icepants IS trying to help, and the “advice” he gave is completely genuine given his own perspective about life. Is it helpful? Hardly. Articulate? Definitely not. But it is 100% honest in his eyes, and he’s the kind of person who believes harsh truth can prevent future heartbreaks… It would actually help a lot if he actually knew anything about what’s he’s talking about instead of assuming things and rushing to conclussions, but then again, some people are like that.Sans is not weak by any means, specially in the emotional area. He didn’t even consider Icepant’s claims of Toriel trying to use him as a possibility because he knows Toriel and knows she isn’t like that. However, there are things he still doesn’t know about himself, and that’s why the conversation had the unwanted effect of making him reflect in some things he had convinced himself to ignore. Icepants worked as a catalizer for what Sans is going through, but he is not the reason.

I’m loving the dichotomy in the opinions here. Never change, anons.

Icepants is a huge cynic. You can love him or you can hate him, but you can’t deny the fact that everything he says, he believes in 100%. The dude is brutally honest to the core and even in his unsavory, uncensored, very unhelpful way, he does try to help sometimes.I’ll leave for you to decide whether that is a good or a bad thing.- Poisond
