oh my god my first instinct was to go “you have no idea what sort of year we just had Ferry” until being dawned by the fact i was saying that to the girl who’s a ghost because she died of a very potent contagious sickness

so in recap the dragon knights’s bday wishes are:

Percival: Gifts you expensive dates to expensive places he noticed you were interested in. Books it only for the two of you, plans for making your birthday a national holiday.

Lancelot: Doesn’t know what to gift you every year. Presents you with dates on things he finds interesting and struggles when he realizes it’s not that appealing to you. Dates in nature, wants to take care of you.

Vane: Doesn’t really get why you’d spend your birthday with him of all people. Ends up spending your birthday planning cakes and teas and be your humble waiter through all of it. Eating homemade food dates, sometimes preparing food with you.

Siegfried: Practical gifts to ward off evil spirits. Also happens to be objects he has and brings up you’ll be matching. Ultimately it’s all about keeping you safe. Dates around how to set up the evil wards together.

did we not tell Vane about the specifics about our family as a MC or. I mean. Vane. baby. 

on one hand it must be bc as an orphan and all he probably thinks about how it’d be sweet for someone to think about his parents, 

on the other it’s probably meant for the player more than MC, but i do find it hilarious to think IRL sending a text to your parents going “anime boy told me to say hi”

but, yeah, once taken into canon... Vane..... Vane sweetheart.... love..... you need to be up to date...
