Okay I might be full of shit bur I always assumed Seph's glitch was a produce of something happening because of Zack's thoughts because he was wearing a kind a visual glasses maybe linked to his brain (1/?)

At least the ASG scene showed that they didn’t need glasses so why Zack? I always assumed in a way it was a training thing to focus on one’s fears and the glasses kinda sink deeper in the one wearing them’s mind (2/?

So to me Angel’s phonecall was either Lazard abt Gen (would make sense Angeal was the first to know about it) or a warning about Seph being created from Zack’s mind and Angeal knowing that even created like that he was dangerous (3/?)

On the why it would have been created by Zack, imo it would be bc of Zack’s obsession to be a hero and taking Seph as an example of hero and seeing him as a rival. Thus Angeal posing to tell him what a hero is really about (4/?)

(Either bc Seph doesn’t ring as hero in his book or because he’s afraid that Zack wants to be hero for bad reasons). The only thing I can’t answer is why Angeal is here aside from being on place if Zack’s mind get out of hand (5/?)

And otherwise it might be only a clumsy foreshadowing for Seph and Zack (between Seph telling him what will cause his doom and all). But ye storywise you have my theory (this is super interesting tho thx for triggering this talk ;o take care!) (7/7)

Well I dunno what kind of brain technology Shinra has and have no idea what those glasses were about … but I just imagine the many ways having a device that brings out your private thoughts for all to see can go wrong… (specially for Zack I assume..) And I don’t think losing to Sephiroth was something Zack was afraid of (that would be Genesis), I think if Zack was facing his fears he would be facing some reality where he is all alone and no one likes him and he’s got no friends..

But it’s interesting if that call was really from Lazard, or even Sephiroth, informing Angeal about Genesis (with the time skips it’s kinda hard to say when stuff happen.) and then I guess he just kinda hurriedly went to get Zack, and that would also mean VR Sephiroth was really a part of that mission and the “to be a hero, you need to have dreams and honor…” is more about Genesis and he basically tells Zack not to do what Genesis is doing? thinking that to be a hero he needs to beat Sephiroth.. Or something like that.. But that would also mean that he immediately assumes that Genesis deserted because of what was going on between him and Sephiroth so I dunno. also I kinda feel like he’d run to Lazard's office after hearing something like that and he would probably tell Zack something was up and then maybe Zack would know that like half of SOLDIER just got up and left the company and he wouldn’t look like an idiot that thought everyone just went on vacation or something, infront of Kunsel...

And yeah Sephiroth is definitely “foreshadowing” someones doom there.. well it’s more like aftershadowing since we all know what happens already haha

Yep.. Tokyo Ghoul has sucked me in.. @ichaichadumbapple i blame you for this. xD I’m reading the manga and I’ve had the strong urge to punch Nishiki and kill Mado. Ever had the thought while reading or watching something for a character to ‘just kill over and die already’? I mean damn. I’ve never had such strong feeling about something.
