Yeah I adore Jamil but thinking on Kalim’s side. Poor guy spent so much of that Book being controlled by someone. Even if with Jade it helped in the end.

What gets me curious is how aware is he when Whispered? Like when Jamil has the big talk before we escaped and turned the dorm against the whole Asim family. Was Kalim just standing around a corner, mind controlled and waiting for some word from Jamil? Did he hear the things that were said about him?

M a n, honestly I'm not sure. Like, he does mention towards the end of the book when he goes to Jamil for reassurance that he wasn't being controlled and he says things like, "I can just fall asleep anywhere right?" "I've just been forgetful right?" so honestly I think he just feels very.. foggy. Like when you try to recall something you did the other day and it just comes up a blank. You know you were home and you talked to certain people, but any specifics are lost. Just this awful loss of awareness akin to walking into a room and have absolutley no clue what you came in there for but for infinitely longer periods of time. And of course Kalim trusts Jamil more then anyone, so if Jamil says he's fine, well then okay he supposes it's fine, best not dwell on it too much then..

Meanwhile what happens with Yuu is absolutely a much lesser version, since they comment on simply agreeing almost instantly. So I'd say anything like that would feel more like you're just acting without thinking lmao

Which of course none of this is helped by Kalim already being seen as forgetful and impulsive

Heya. I know you really aren’t a fan of season 1. But has season 2 caught your eye at all even for morbid curiosity? I’m happy to see Glen and Glenda again. But the comments on the new trailer just show how many people only watched season 1. Annoyed at all the ‘woke propaganda’ assholes tbh.

I'm ride or die for this franchise even whilst loathing it apparently. Plus I got my ride or die boi to go along for the ride with so that makes it bearable, but I’m at the point now where I’ll happily view spoilers before watching.

I think I call TWST kinda generous because the other Gacha I play is Genshin. And Mihoyo is not a very generous company to its players at all. In TWST you can stockpile a bunch of gems rather quickly and now with the birthdays including the player birthday we get 230 free summons a year. I know they aren’t similar type games but I feel I’ve gotten a lot out of TWST.

Ok, comparatively, twst probably is on the side of generous compared to most other Gacha out there, and I've been keeping track of several.

For example;

They don't lock story behind nearly insurmountable odds if you don't spend money (obey me,) nor are the odds of getting what you want out of an event particularly difficult (Fgo, MLQC, Fire Emblem Heroes, Genshin to an extent) or highly competitive (Ikemen series)

So yes, Twst is probably a more forgiving Gacha, likely because this is still Disney at the forefront of it, and they still have to have some facade of being family oriented, and fostering gambling addictions in youth isn't exactly a good move towards that.

Still, like I said, if I stop myself from just starting a game, I can keep my impulse control under wraps so I don't break down pretty much immediately and spend money 🤷‍♀️

Nat I had an idea for Gojo and my OC. She’s Japanese-American and moved back kinda recently. So Gojo learns about English memes I guess without her really knowing. And he randomly sends her a YouTube link. Yurei(my OC) opens it, not expecting anything only for Never Gonna Give You Up to blare and she throws her phone at him in a pure reaction; his Infinity breaking the poor device. Everyone else but these two are utterly confused because the song sounds nice. But hearing Gojo’s gremlin laughs is enough for at least Utahime to realize he’s being Chaotic.

this is SUCH a gojo thing to do honestly. you think he is being normal; maybe he is sending you a cute video of a cat. but no. you are being rick-rolled.

also the idea that you cant throw anything at gojo or tackle him because of infinity is always so funny to me, things just bouncing off of him like he’s got a force field dnfjbvjknfbg
