Ough this one took a while; i think I’ll switch up my style for this so i can get panels out faster, probably more similar to the MOTM style without heavy greyscale coloring. I’ll have super detailed scenes with more shading and such when a big event happens!

VIXY AND HER QUEST FOR FRIENDS!!

highkey wanted to showcase Vixy's relationships, I hope yall dont mind! CLOSE FRIENDS! These nice folk are Vixy's rock; she adores all of them. She feels she can talk with them about things (most things). She'd give the world to all of them! Though some of them already know about her actual job, not all of them do- she's getting there to tell them the truth; she's just scared of their reaction. Vixy holds all of them in high regard! (Ocs/sorry for the tag; let me know if you dont wish to be tagged/involved with Vixy! @vioofc, @rarykosa, @itskindafunky, @th3-0r4ng3-sun, @dip-n-sippy, @koriizkorner and @vtbard!) FAMILY (not blood related)! Faith and Brady practically grew up with Vixy; Vixy considers them her siblings. She would hurt people if anything bad happened to Faith and Brady. Sage was found by Brady and taken in by the Ceramics. Vixy and Brady refer to Sage as their little sister, even though Vixy practically raised Sage. Sage is nervous to admit it, but she sees Vixy as her mom. Vixy feels so maternal towards Sae XD (Ocs/sorry for the tag; let me know if you dont wish to be tagged/involved with Vixy! @s-kyloft and @itskindafunky!) CRUSHES (aka Vixy being a hopeless romantic)! These kind gentlemen gave Vixy a sliver of attention, and she fell head over heels! Who knows what's next! After seeing @demons-n-deities post abt Malachi and his paleness, it reminded me that I never really explained the black markings on my angel designs

So here you go a rough summary of why they all have black stripes/spots;

I call it “rusting” since the process is based off copper oxidation. All angels start pure white and gradually develop black markings as they are exposed to dark energy from the mortal/demonic worlds. All angels are affected by dark energy, but rusting is most common in guardian angels and older angels who spend more time around mortals as protectors or fighting against demons when necessary.

An angel’s halo acts as a mini conduit of energy - while an angel is in Heaven their halo collects innate energy and then feeds it to the angel when they are outside of the holy realm. However, when a halo starts running out of pure energy it will draw on the energy in the world around it.

Some angels have minimal to no rusting and are either very young or work exclusively within the holy realm. The holy realm - or pure realm, heaven - contains no dark energy and burns away residual darkness carried over by traveling angels. Contrarily, the demonic realm/Hell is the main producer of dark energy; angels within Hell experience rusting at an accelerated rate and often have extremely unstable energies (halo drawing on dark energy).

The mortal realm/Earth contains both pure and dark energies as a result of being “between” the other realms. Guardian angels are stationed on the surface to help protect from the threat of demonic forces, while demonic powers linger to ensure the holy beings don’t control the free beings.

This is the official blog for the Ichor Isles experimental comic archive. As it is experimental, this blog will shift and change as needed when I run into any issues.

Join our cast as they scour their world for clues, hunting down the answers to a sinister plot webbed beneath the underbelly of their world. But as they approach the end of the story, will the revelations they have cause the mission to lapse into oblivion? Or cause the genesis of a new age?

This story will include elements of:

GORE: blood and mild viscera in scenes. I will make sure to add a TW for EVERY appearance of such content.

DEATH: no spoilers, but there is on-and-off screen death included in this story

PROFANITY: nothing strong enough to make a sailor blush but it’s not just cartoony car horns and boings.

RELIGION: this story is very religious at its core elements; while both believers and non-religious people can engage with an enjoy the story, there are some elements that are easier to pick up on if you have a religious background

Note: I [creator] value the complexities of religion within the modern age, from the doctrines taught to the masses and the root questions of certain teachings. The primary religion I am pulling from is Christianity in its entirety (no specific denomination). There will be no attacking of religion or religious peoples, and all characters used are created by my own interpretation of cross-religious figures.
