Since we are quickly approaching 300 followers on this blog, I thought I would sketch some of the fallen members of MurkClan, who helped us get here in the first place :)

✏️ - Who’s your favorite character to draw/write?

I really enjoy drawing Prairiefrost because she is one single colour! My favourite! I've also learned though that I love drawing Rootstar! I doodle him and Flipkite in school notes sometimes :)

My favourites to write are for sure Prairiefrost and Coneriver. I love delving into their complicated emotions and all that, especially since they're still pretty young and don't have it all figured out!

💘 - Any cats you ship? Any non-canon/crackship/oddball pairs?

Sagegrass x Clovegleam and also Rootstar x Flipkite !! I love them so much dude <3 As for non-canon, I actually really like Icicleswoop x Jasmineswirl! Both are super lively and they could've made a great pair, had they gotten to know each other more :) I am also starting to see the appeal in Coriandertail x Prairiefrost lol

I also think Marshthrush and Storkfur could've made a fun pair. Maybe they could even be with Frostthrush too and form a polycule :)

🪵 - What natural resources does your clan collect for tools, rituals, decoration, etc.?

Most of the tools and things they use for shelter is trash and junk leftover from twolegs, so not a lot of natural stuff! Flowers are often sought after for decoration, but are pretty hard to find in MurkClan territory.

📜 - How does your clan’s warrior code differ from other clans?

A lot of the rules are the same, there's just some they abandoned! So, let's see:

They don't do silent vigils after receiving a name

There's no real time limit to find a deputy

They don't challenge (I'm assuming as in fight?) all cats who trespass borders. Instead, they try to inform them of the borders (in case it's not a clan cat) and don't resort to fighting unless attacked first

Healers are allowed to have mates and kits

Not sure exactly how to give out of context spoilers for the next few moons, but just know Sagegrass is going to be having a bad bad time :(

🏔- Lore you’ve been wanting to share but haven’t gotten a chance to?

I want to talk a bit about a mediator's role in the clan! Mediators are not only peacemakers, but they also act as therapists! We've seen this with Sagegrass a bit, where she helped talk Coneriver through his grief. They're here to make sure their clanmates are kept happy both by resolving arguments and also by helping them mentally :)

If Prairiefrost were more willing to open up about her problems, she probably would've been much better off than she is now :(
