houghh and nearly every poll following too. that said, i would MUCH rather do friendly battle with the passionate people backing the other champions than have to fight another fucking uphill battle against sheer overwhelming popularity. but also can these matchups PLEASE stop being so close (heh) it's so bad for my heart please please p

Something I like about this Round Robin style is that imo it actually allows things to be less of a popularity contest, despite what some people may think. Knock-out style brackets do lead to smaller podcasts being hit harder, because if they lose to one big name, it's over. But here, every character is in every round, and losses are easier to come back from

Also, I feel like a smaller set of contestants means that people are more invested in their characters and others, and there's less people voting just because they recognise a name

Plus, if this was such a popularity contest, Carlos wouldn't be on 0 points right now, and losing in so many polls, and Husky wouldn't have 6 points. People are genuinely voting out of sexiness and passion, and I think that's wonderful!

Yeah, since the contestants are all winners of previous brackets, hopefully most voters are vaguely aware of who everyone is now!

• How I feel about this character

Veronica!!! I love her!!! I wish we’d gotten to like… actually see her in the show yk

• All the people I ship romantically with this character

TJ Stampler! Terry is a massive former goth dork nerd that Veronica adores and wishes she could’ve met sooner instead of her crappy ex husband. She finds his oddities funny and charming, and she could listen to him talk about science stuff for hours, whether she explicitly understands what he’s on about or not.

Edward Cullen, not actually, mostly a joke, but Veronica shipped herself with him all through her teen years after nosediving into a hardcore twilight renaissance girlie in her youth, it coincided with her goth phase.

There’s a timeline where TJ is a vampire, and in that one, he proposed to her covered in body glitter. She laughed until she cried, then kissed him hard, and he had to be like “so is that a yes?”

• My non-romantic OTP for this character

For a brief while! I really liked the idea of her and Cass having been close once, like former best friends that just didn’t see each other much, OR got torn asunder by the memory wipe I had assumed was involved post Betrayal

• My unpopular opinion about this character

Idk if I have one! She really isn’t in it much, so I don’t think there are many that are unpopular to have.

So instead I’ll describe some of her appearance ig?

I picture her with short brown hair, deep golden brown skin, honestly looks like an adult!Scary. She still wears a lot of black, but isn’t as explicitly goth as she was in her younger years. She’s very elegant in my mind.

• One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I really wish we’d gotten to see her react to TJ’s death, like, he died, then tried to unexist himself in Hell out of guilt for what he did to his former best friend and she never even found out about any of that

11. Favourite extracurricular activity?

I’ll take this as something I like to do outside my day-to-day :) I really enjoy the silly DnD campaign my friends and I play every two weeks which is so fun. Lots of laughs and good company 🥰 Also really enjoying the koala-and-baby-koala I’m cross stitching at the moment for my friend whose baby is due in a couple of months :) I haven’t done a big cross stitch pattern for a while and it’s a challenge and a delight

I like Finch, the self-care app! It’s very cute and I have like a 500+ day streak 😎✌️ My favourite way to use it is to keep track of my online orders, putting them in when I make one and ticking it off when I arrive. Helps me keep track of how much I’m spending
