Unknown slug species photographed by Matthieu Berroneau in Tanzania
Had to share this one because it has me wildly confused. Thought it was a sea slug at first, but it’s pretty clearly on land and has all the morphology of a terrestrial slug. I’ve never seen a terrestrial slug with coloring like this and couldn’t find any matches for similar species online. The photographer is usually great at IDing and did not recognize the species. If anyone can find anything, please share!

Anyone want to try and ID these rocks? Found in RI. Likely granite and quartz. I know nothing about rocks.
Said this on Twitter, but lemme show it here as well

anyone able to confirm the species of these guys? i got them from my yard, there is one large guy in the container with them that i know is A. vulgare and rolls in a ball when disturbed, but the ones in these pictures do not do that.
I encountered this strange looking fly a while ago and was wondering if anyone can help with an ID?
(And why does it look so angry?)

Edit: A good soul (dipterajere on iNaturalist) flagged it to be a fruit fly of the Genus Noeeta. And Entomologist cooperjohn also flagged the fly to be male.
So uh. I spent 3 years on and off turning the cut Kunikazu Okumura will seed events found in P5Rs code into comic form.
Im always thinkin about the cut will seed content, so hopfully this comic helps that content be less forgettable.

welp. i started this comic on my birthday in 2021. and i finally finished it, after about 3 years of off and on work.also cuz i like...worked on it over 3 years and i started it while i was learning clip studio, the style, lineart and font change alot. also there's def grammer and spelling mistakes.
ive got disgraphia so don't come for me lmao. so yea its noticable but im not re-writing it all from scratch lol.Kinda wild to have finally finished it. i started it to distract myself from recently separating from a prominent abuser in my life. and to disract myself from my shit home situation. glad i made it this far to see it finished. <3
finishing this and that huge paper mario print have been really validating, after having to leave artschool due to abuse,i really came close to dropping it all tougether, but really pushing myself to make shit im proud of has really helped me.
even if nobody fucking cares about 2 old dudes bitching to eachother in an office. very riviting.
Hopefully all Zero okumura fans beside me can get a SHRED of somthing from my endevor.

I think this guy might be Chrysochus cobaltinus, although that pretty plant is not their preferred food. They eat milkweed and dogbane, both of which contain a chemical that our little friend uses to ward off predators (they themselves are immune). Otherwise possibly an altica (flea beetle) of some some kind? Can anyone with a coleoptera hyperfixation help me out here?
