Did you buy this basket for mushrooms? Too bad
Day two of cabbage and someone other than a snail finally notices it
two of the critters that will be available via my online store early next week along with some new stickers, prints, and other unsold work from in person vending including my ceramic magnets and dishes! I'm aiming for Monday but that isn't set in stone yet, I'll update everyone with the exact date and time in about 2 days. I've also recently made a newsletter feature as an additional means to keep people updated on new inventory/restock - listed near the bottom of the page on my online store :)
As I feel compelled to share any wholesome Sandhill Crane content that I find, I hope you will enjoy this great video from Busch Wildlife Sanctuary. (I added a watermark so hopefully they won’t mind me yoinking this vid to share with y’all here)
The rescue posted that this little family has been spotted several times since the introduction and they seem to be doing great 🥹
Please consider donating to this organization to help fund their efforts in wildlife rehabilitation if you are able!

Why's this dude built like crash bandicoot
Everything about this damn post is so funny to me. The lighting of the arm from the flash. The posing of the arm like a dramatic death from a novella. The fact the photo somehow got taken still and looks this good. The subreddit name. The fact this guy really is built like crash bandicoot
The christian family in these memes (which are absolutely all over facebook these days) genuinely do always look miserable. Who the fuck is relating to these stock mormon farm cultists. That is a couple who made love only once in pitch darkness with bags on their heads then celebrated the pregnancy with a feast of uncooked potatoes and warm tapwater. The baby seems intrigued though. Maybe only by the bottle of pills??
Could not leave this in the tags <3
I love baby foxes. Nothing has ever had less of an idea.

One of my favorite things about gulls: their incredible grace and poise.
Lincoln Park, Seattle, WA November 23, 2025
(This fish was absolutely too big for them to swallow, but there was no way in HELL they were going to drop it. I saw them drop the fish and pick it up several times in an attempt to Make Food Fit in Gull Mouth, so they weren't choking or anything, just stubborn.)
not being able to actually eat the fish is no reason to share
Uganda's oldest and largest licensed coffee exporter contributed their in-country expertise to the coalition to establish "model farms."
Due to where it is typically grown, coffee farms are particularly vulnerable to damage from erosion when rain comes either too intensely or too sparsely. A coalition assembled by the Global Environment Facility set up test farms to help provide local coffee farmers in Uganda with the resources to apply regenerative agricultural techniques to their local farming conditions.
The results have led to better yields, healthier soil that is less prone to erosion, and more stable income for farmers.
“But since we applied mulches and planted drought resistant seedlings, the coffee farms are reliably resilient. My coffee is stronger and more promising, and so is my family.”
relentlessly funny to me when people treat a relationship between someone in their 30s and someone in their 40s as "age difference". bro i cannot tell you which of my friends are 34 and which are 44. i can probably tell you which ones aren't 30 yet, but it's probable some of them are 50 now and i didn't notice. if you're over 30 and don't have kids, it's kinda all one age until you can collect social security.

Hi all, I'll be selling my art, including these new dishes at the Hamilton Art Crawl due to popular request this Friday, July 10th!
📍Hamilton, ON, James Street North between York Blvd to Murray St East, 5pm-11pm
(This is my first time attending the event and it's a bit daunting given it's a free, first come, first serve setup for vendors and I need to make a 1.5h drive, is there anyone local who's running a booth and would be willing to be my neighbor and correspond with?)
