A robin I rehabbed and released in my yard two years ago has remained local since then, and is decently confident with me and my partner (nobody else, he just remembers us and is comfortable here). And this spring has started bringing around his mate who we have been slowly getting to know!! And now they have a nest right in view of my kitchen!!!! I feel like a grandparent, I'm so proud of them 🥺
