The new VW ID.7 is ready to order in the UK
The new ID.7 will launch in a Pro (77 kWh battery) and Pro S (86 kWh battery) format. This will be the first car to feature intelligent electronic vents which allow the interior to cool / heat more quickly. As standard enjoy the augmented HUD, 19” Hudson alloy wheels, keyless locking / start, Discover Pro Max system, Travel Assist, Emergency Assist, Area View camera system and Lane Assist. And optional equipment will include the panoramic glass sunroof (which can switch from opaque to clear), the Interior Package Plus will add Harman Kardon sound system, sea climate control and lumbar activation. The Exterior Package Plus adds progressive steering, adaptive chassis control and driver profile selections.
So how does the standard pro battery perform? This RWD will have a 77 kWh usable battery which will offer 0 – 62 times of 6.5 seconds, 112 mph top speeds and 210 kW (or 282 hp). Expect a combined winter range of 245 miles with warmer weather allowing for 340 miles. On charging, the 11 kW AC max will allow 8 hour and 15 min 0 – 100% charging times with the 175 kW DC maximum allowing 28 minute 10 – 80% times. A cargo volume of 532L is available with this car. It has a vehicle fuel equivalent of 155mpg. This option can tow 750kg (Unbraked) or 1200kg (Braked).
So how does the upgraded Pro S battery perform? This RWD will have an 86 kWh usable battery which will offer 0 – 62 times of 7.0 seconds, 112 mph top speeds and 210 kW (or 282 hp). Expect a combined winter range of 270 miles with warmer weather allowing for 370 miles. On charging, the 11 kW AC max will allow 9 hour and 15 min 0 – 100% charging times with the 200 kW DC maximum allowing 27 minute 10 – 80% times. A cargo volume of 532L is available with this car. It has a vehicle fuel equivalent of 153 mpg.
