Summary 

Students are assigned to write how a course or lesson prepared them for a certain position or promotion.

Variations

Students could participate in simulated interviews, both as interviewer and interviewee. Online this could happen via web conference or asynchronously in a discussion forum with questions and responses. 

Students could search existing job listings online and summarize a position they are interested in, the requirements, and how a course, lesson, or program relates and prepares them to apply.
