It's just a thought of mine but upon thinking about it after watching several videos of Benedict being shoved through crowds of girls eager to grab his attention, obviously making him uncomfortable, it just seemed a little ott. I'm the kind of girl who, no matter how much she loves the person, could never be so pushy, so straight forward. I would much rather walk into them on the street, like a normal person, in a normal everyday life, being busy. Me being me I would have probably rushed into them by accident and sent them flying. I would help them up, say sorry be about to leave and then realise they were famous. I just think that being so pushy scares people sometimes. If I met Benedict, or Martin, or anyone from any of my favoured shows I wouldn't be like "look I have a t-shirt with you on it, look I want you to sign this..." I would say hi, smile politely and ask them if they were okay. And if ever a situation occurred I would hope it wasn't in a room full of screaming fans. Don't get me wrong. I am obviously a little OTT but I know I wouldn't like to be followed by screaming fans, or in the middle of them. And I'm not saying its wrong, just that its not me. I would love to meet them, maybe get something signed, give them something to remember me by, even something small. But given the chance to know them a little better, not have the guy who has to follow them through crowds, and to have the opportunity to think of them as someone worth the time, well it just seems better. Even of a little unlikely.
I know this either sounds really stupid or just a rant, but I felt like I should express something, the videos I saw were mainly screaming fans, who, although refraining from pouncing on him, were still being pushed back further. I met bear grylls for a few seconds, I asked him how he was and he shunned me. I know not all celebrities are nice, or care but from the videos Benedict seemed interested in the lives of his fans, even if a little scared, and he was being forced through.. Rant over....
