Ifk but i have this short story idea.
Its about a potential kingdom magician, who goes to the mountain witch/Warlock (haven’t decided) for help on magic. The mountain witch/warlock makes a deal they’ll teach them only on one condition is “to do one favor for them whenever they want, and they can’t refuse”
Potential Magician agrees, fast forward to like 3 years later the magician has become the kingdom magician because of the witch/warlock’s teaching. Though the kingdom magician is still waiting for the mountain warlock/witch to contact them getting somewhat scared about what the favor they couldn’t refuse would be.
At night the witch/warlock uses they’re magic to call the magician out of their room in the kingdom to meet outside the kingdom walls.
“Its time for your favor you can’t refuse” the warlock/witch dressed in an ominous garb. The kingdom magician ready for their career to end or to be given some task that’ll get them killed, is surprised when child appears from beneath the warlock/witch’s garb.
“Be their babysitter when ever I ask”
The magician can’t believe this is the favor but shakely says yes wondering why they need to baby sit this child.
So far i think im about to more covenant groups. and witches in general
so far i have that the summer witches are very close and like nicest kids you can know. they’re also really sexually open, but what happens one night with any of the summer witches stays between summer witches. Also they’re all really good looking.
Fall witches are the most creative. that is all.
Spring Witches are outdoory people. also more likely to be potheads. they’re the scarier people to deal with, even the weakest ones are terrifying.
Winter witches I’ve gotta figure that out.
The Covenants are a group of four witches, one from each season.And these four live together. Witches with season magic aren’t born as often as normal witches.(actually for a year every few decades. They’re distinguishable from other witches by the vibrant hair color that constantly stays in their hair and adjusts itself even if their hair gets cut or dyed. the hair color also shows how much magic they can use at one time, that doesn’t necessarily mean a witch with small amounts of color is weak though.) Every year seven groups control the seasons for the larger non magical sister world. They control the seasons, the emotions the seasons cause, the weather and other things it just depends on what witch is for that season. Example 420 could be the best one year in one area of the sister world but in another area it’s just not fun everyone just isn’t feeling the weed that day. Also the witch territories can affect eachother causing unforeseen circumstances, like none magical world has stores in a overlapping zone.
All Witches when they’re in school get a familiar project when they’re younger for them make.
So far for my witches I have
my first Covenant (witches don’t really have race names aside from the seasons but they do look like certain races. They have somewhat of a gender concept and such but its not as heavily in their culture, though they still have their prejudices they have to deal with. mostly involving use of magic and older can be highly strict with gender concepts and roles though its dying out in the culture)

Second Covenant(FUCK BOYS THE COVENANT…it started off like that but spiraled into an actual cute and fun little group of nerds. i SOME HOW FOUND A WAY TO KEEP WITH MY SEASON RELATED NAMES AND STILL HAVE THEM BE FUCKBOY KINDA NAMES)
Bradwell(Brad for short)(Spring)
Pot head romantic skater boy. he has a different crush every week all the crushes are summer witches. writes shitty poetry when he’s high.
Dune(Summer)
openly gay artist. very sexual with Gab, and doesn’t take his bullshit. very mischievous chill jokester.
Maize(Fall)
quiet cosplayer and secretly one of the girls Bradwell is crushing on when she’s in cosplay. She’s not much for appearances in casual settings, and looks almost nothing like her cosplay self.
Gabriel(Gab for short.)(Winter)
gym nut. closet homosexual but is highly homophobic/sexist around his friends, even though he’s sleeping with Dune. He’s constantly getting a talking to from Dune about his behavior.
I’ll probably be making more covenants because I do enjoy making these characters and their relationships.
So season witches
Spring witch, a very grumpy witch that dresses in pink and white. Very fashionable, he decorated his wand with flowers and wears floral shirts. Doesn’t wear his witch cape unless its necessary. Smokes cigars in his downtime. He’s the happiest when flower viewing and gardening. Gets along best with Fall Witch, his smoking buddy. Rides his broom like board. His familiar is talking-ferret. His specialty is fortune telling and enchantments
Summer witch, just a ball of sunshine. He dresses more like he’s going to the gym. Dresses like a disaster when he try to dress up. Eats the most out of the witches, which baffles the other witches. Loves fireworks, and has mastered the spell for making them. he’s happiest when he’s around fire, and when he’s out in the sun. Plays videogames with Winter witch, though it always ends in a magic battle and broken controllers. Rides his broom like horseback rider. his familiar is a talking frog. His specialty is wandless magic.
Fall witch, sweet and festive she’ll make you spiced apple cider and nerd out about her season. She experiments with trying to blend fashion and costumes. Decorated her hat with enchanted leaves. She works better with her hands than the other witches. Very festive, holds themed parties at her place every week. Happiest when she’s making baked goods, and craft projects. Collabs with Spring witch to make clothing. Rides her broom like an actually witch. Her familiar is a talking Black cat. Her specialty are potions and charms.
Winter witch, shy-cutie that can’t stand the cold. She’s miserable because she loves her season but hates the cold. She feels hot foods taste better in her season, and loves what she can do during her season. Stays to herself in home with a constant supply of hot chocolate and eggnog. Has a huge collection of books. Secretly she’s a firm believer in Santa Claus, and when she’s not freezing in the cold she enjoys playing outside. Happiest when she’s not cold and when she’s under her blankets. Spends the most time with Summer witch. Rides broom like a princess. Her familiar is talking rabbit. Her specialty is a wand magic.
