grabber ramble!! ffo au. note that this is NOT defending any actions done, moreso just me going on and on about what i've done with the character. he disgusts me when i'm writing him, so in a twisted way, im proud as hell. so. below cut bc tw (pedo shit, th horror genre basics, etc) + spoilers for tbp & the au, future plans maybe included. this might get weird. i am literally just rambling about it—i don't like a lot of it, but i'm proud of making an already uncomfortable character more uncomfortable for me, i guess! might jump around a bit.

So, first off, his victims. He skipped Robin. Instead of Robin, he got Finney. He kidnapped and killed all the other boys, though. So it was (leaving the camp kids out of this): Griffin, Vance, Billy, Bruce, Finney.

Why has he kept Finney? Glad you asked!

He's trying to start a harem of teenage boys, duh. Finney's the first of many!!1!1!1!

(For obvious reasons this is a joke.)

He kept Finney because.. well, I don't really have a particular reason. I can tell you where that idea/situation came from with how i'm writing him, though!

This version of the Grabber decides to get the.. uh, in his words, first "heated" interaction out of the way before killing the victims. If he likes it? Apparently you get kept and join his harem!! that's what happened with finn. freaky,

(Again, a joke, blame @gr4bber. I meant, if he likes it, he keeps the victim.On the occasion.)

He kept Finney because he was cooperative (for reasons that are heavy spoilers). Mostly unwilling, but still cooperative.

Vance was a no-go because he fought.

Griffin was a no-go because he bit.

etc. etc. the list goes on. feel free to fill in the blanks.

We also need to talk about time. Before bringing Finney upstairs, he kept him in the basement for a few months. Keeping Finney was his first go at keeping any of the boys he took, so he was cautious. And maybe there was someone else upstairs, but we'll get to that. Down in the basement, he had a sort of routine. Go downstairs, have his temporary fill, then leave the boy there to do whatever he did in the basement.

His character! How he acts with people (mainly Finney). He likes to stay "on top" of the situation or problem. Something happens that's his fault? Goddamnit Finney, why're you such a fuck up? (I'm so sorry).

He is. for lack of better words. literally always turned the fuck on by person from his basement. It's why he mainly leaves Finn in almost nothing. It's rare that Finn's ever in something more than a shirt or maybe just something you'd wear under everything. Every time he's dressed, he's going out or seeing other people (such as "Basement Boy"). Back to Al's obsessed bullshit! Very in the mood for absolutely no reason. I hate it!! Finn moves his finger to tap something? Oh my god, I knew you were in a mood!

Thus he is very touchy. In a bad way, of course, the "relationship" is in no way properly consensual + Finney has what's probably Stockholm syndrome (don't quote me on that). Almost constantly, though, he's holding a hand, talking to Finn, asking for or giving kisses, etc. Finney stands up? Suddenly he's being felt the fuck up. It's gross and I think i feel sick .. anyway

oh also. when he gets mad—the way i write "mad" ffo grabber is he blames a lot of whatever made him mad on whoever's around or he just snaps at tiny things when irritated. So, like, the scene in uh.. ch.5. finney didn't really do anything horrible, he just didn't answer and walked away, and he blew up. He also tends to, like, be dramatic when mad. Exaggerating things. "You always manage to fuck up, huh?!"
