Socially Controlling vs Socially Conscientious

Socially Controlling:

Separates people into “solid” stereotypes while deriding stereotyping for the group or groups they personally identify with

Declares authoritative power over assigning attributes to stereotypes based on their own presumptions or limited personal/shared experiences

Doesn’t grasp the importance of humility; may feign humility through self-deprecating humor

Attributes “woke” behaviors to themselves while also seeking to humiliate, criticize or “other” people in order to validate themselves through faux comparative-validation

Exaggerates the faults of others they do not identity with

Mistakenly confuses personal incredulity, exaggerated personal experience and ignoratiam fallacies with critical thought and analysis (”Black Swan Egotism”)

Engages in bulverism, othering, dehumanization, confabulation and straw man argumentation in order to maintain black and white worldviews

Does not understand the flaws in groupthink, verecumdiam, rationalization or other such self-referential, social, dictatorial, rationalizing or false-elimination fallacies and cognitive biases

Focuses on eliminating dissent rather than on debating facts; utilizes as hominem attacks, red herrings, straw man arguments, appeal to the stone, appeal to ridicule, etc

Focuses on secondary elimination tactics by comparing dissent to catastrophe via slippery slope alarmism, fearmongering, false dilemmas, social theatrics, the spotlight fallacy, overwhelming exceptions, etc

States the only solution to the world’s problems is through totalitarian concepts, usually by placing the power of authoritative control in the hands of the group they are apart of or identity with

Defaults to exaggerated dependence and promotion of their group, authoritative figures, flawed protocols/procedures, social hierarchy and groupthink, without critical examination of lacking epistemic differentials or checks and balances

Often obsessed with aesthetics and relies heavily on external aesthetics to make “solid” conclusions about the world around them (”Naive Attributionism”)

Socially Conscientious:

Grasps why people tend to flock to sorting people and circumstances into over-simplistic categories, but thinks about them critically and accepts the possibility that others do as well

Does not acknowledge the authority of anyone to speak for others without their permission and accepts that even permissible declarations can be flawed

Grasps and accepts Socratic and Diogenestic humility, personal limitations, and the limitations of humanity in general

Acknowledges their lack of complete awareness and past issues tied to a lack of complete awareness; doesn’t pretend to be part of a superior group

Studies exaggeration and actively attempts to reduce the use of exaggeration in their thought processes and social rhetoric

Studies Epistemology, logical fallacies, cognitive biases, heuristical flaws, memory disturbances and common misconceptions in order to avoid spreading uncritical and inaccurate  concepts and socially harmful rhetoric

Doesn’t default to worldview reasoning through self-referential, groupthink, authoritarian, rationalization, or false-elimination in order to maintain or double-down on self-serving or group-serving beliefs

Studies Epistemic Sociology and concepts such as circular-reporting, the overton window, game theory, power structures and system justification

Debates using established facts and error elimination; focuses on citations, data and fallacies

Understands that optimal solutions are rarely reached through authoritarian declarations or fallacy-laden declarations

A Stirnerest nightmare. The conformity of non-conformity, as opposed to being being truly individual; the popularity of new fads creates an identity which often swallows any true individuality for the sake of preserving a fixated identity (or stereotype) which becomes an “idolized spook”. Idiot Calling

Everyone is an Idiot in the Assessment of the ‘New Left’

Whenever citicism is levelled at the mouthpieces of the radical/new/hard left the response is always the same. Rather than engage in discussion they merely describe their opponent as “hilarious,” a wolf whistle to their comrades to join in the sport of caricaturing their victim as a contemptible idiot. The purpose of his is to reaffirm the groups artificial sense of intellectual superiority and shut down discussion, thereby deflecting criticism.

It never works. Yes, it may have the short term effect of chasing off a detractor, but ultimately it only fuels resentment for the left and shores up the ranks of the angry right. What is exposed by this pack behaviour is the complete lack in this segment of left of confidence in its own positions, further inviting more robust criticism and derision. It is utterly indicative of the failure of the quixotic “radical” left.
