Put a couple thousand words together for a set of Ernest headcanons I’ve been tossing around for years :)
Elevator pitch (part of an unfinished comic from Apr 2023):
Image text: in two months... in two weeks... in two days... I shall entirely cease to exist. My documents are in order; my bags are packed; my fate is sealed. Image content: Multi-panel montage of Ernest preparing his disguise (clothes, paperwork) then waiting for a train. His face remains hidden or off-panel throughout.
why do i have to have a name can i just be That Guy Over There 😒
So as you may know some gender fuckery has been happening these past few months and here is the thrilling conclusion (or at least the end of the beginning):
You can call me Vi, and refer to me with either she/her or they/them pronouns.
I’ve been debating with myself on the subject of names and been wanting to stop using my given name for quite a while, but I couldn’t figure out a replacement I liked. I’m still not 100% sold on this one (which is short for Victoria, a name that I do intend to take as one of my given names One Day), but i guess it might work.
If you happen to know my rl legal name/deadname, please don’t use it anymore (Slayer or GT still works though).
chat how do i get a partner as an aroace autistic transmasc thing chat be fr with me
i hesitate calling myself aromantic in real life conversations, especially to those who only really know aromantic as the 'absolutely no love/romance' orientation. like, i want love, i want to have a partner, but i just lack the attraction. it doesn't help that people don't understand the 'little to no' part of the common definition. and going around as if im allo just feels like a recipe for disaster in terms of a relationship. so. its a bit of a conundrum i suppose
iiiiiiii think my ideal relationship is one where people who know us know we come as a pair. like buy one get one free kind of deal. not in an overly codependent way, but because our energies mesh so well. like two teenage boys who are always clinging onto eachother and toeing the line of platonic and romantic.
The dysmorphia situation is crazy. I just heard myself via recording, and I didn't cringe.
