Changing your Whumpee's personality or memory or very identity permanently my beloved. Whumpees living with not just their bodies altered but their entire sense of self.

Rescued Whumpee + their friends and family coping with how they'll never be the same again, and not just in the way of typical trauma response.

Whumpees still in the process of alteration- maybe it's "mundane" manipulation and conditioning, maybe mind control that's always going to linger, maybe fantasy where someone is literally tinkering around with their soul.

Whumpee horrifically aware of how they're being changed. Whumpee who's changed so slowly they don't notice until it's much too late.

Whumpee who changes semi-willingly, so desperate to be wanted they'll fully let themselves be molded to another's whim.

Thinking about the horror of having one's body changed against your will, and not knowing why or what you're being changed into.

Perhaps you'll be injected with padding, or heating elements, to be kept and snuggled against your will.

Perhaps you'll get your teeth sharpened, your nails replaced with claws, and forced to fight against others until you're a bleeding, broken mess.

Perhaps you'll be turned into somebody else's favorite character, redesigned, from the ground up, demoted from real person to flanderized replica.

Perhaps your limbs will be torn from you, replaced with cold, unfeeling metal, to make you taller, or shorter, or buffer, or perhaps, just maybe, to make you quadrupedal.

Perhaps you'll have your organs replaced with mechanical pumps and reactors.

Perhaps even your eyes and ears will be mechanized.

One thing is for certain, however.

You'll never be the same again.

Identity Reveals man

TW: close whumper.

Villain whumper, toying with whumpees mask, wondering how their eyes must look, musing aloud.

Whumpee glares furiously behind that mask, biting Whumpers hand when they get close, or head butting them.

Villain setting up their broadcast. They want to ruin their life.

Hero whumpee thrashing, the stoic facade gone, begging villain not to do this.

Hero whumpee jerking their head or trying to bite villain whumper when they get close. The villain whumper grabbing whumpee by the jaw, digging their nails in.

Hero whumpee has frustrated and furious tears streaming down their face, muttering pleas, begging. Villain whumper merely smiling, gently wiping the tears away before moving away the mask, then jerking whumpees face closer to the camera, turning their head every way for all to see.

Hero whumpee is devastated, and fearful. Now people close to the whumpee are in danger as well.

Alternatively; Villain whumper recognizing them. Dropping the mask and stepping back, knocking over the camera, all the blood draining from their face. Their voice dropping all malice as they whisper whumpees name.

Living Weapon whumpee with no memory before they were released from their Enhancement Program, mission-ready.

Between missions, their former loved one, who became a handler so they could still see whumpee and protect them in some way, tries to see some sign of their former personality.

Turn blorbo into your whumpee? No.

Turn whumpee into your blorbo.

Completely alter their appearance, from their hair color, eye color, even their height and weight should be changed to match your blorbo's. Make them unrecognizable as anybody but them.

Then, the fun part. Training them to act like blorbo. Shock collars, hypnosis, whips, or even hijacking their brain entirely, be it through magic or machinery. Beat down whatever personality they came with, and install the correct one overtop. Make them genuinely believe that they are blorbo, and that they've always been blorbo.

Now, you have your own version of blorbo, one who you can re-torture, or take care of, or train to torment others, at a much lower cost than you'd pay if you hunted down blorbo yourself. It's clearly the superior option, right?

Of course it is.

Magically body-swapped characters who, as the weeks go by without finding a way to swap back, their personalities are slowly warping to be more similar to the body's original.

User's Manual information: Memory Chips

Memory Chips (or just Chips) are similar to microSD cards, and are typically about the size of a stamp, and contain up to an exabyte of data. They are uniformly gray, with no ornamentation, and cannot be taken apart once put together. After being installed into a Unit, the Chip runs a one-time program that prevents the Unit from touching the area the Chip was installed into, to prevent data corruption. There are two things that make Chips unique compared to other data storage devices.

The first is that all data contained on a Chip is converted into one of several lossless, unique formats. For example, a Unit's memories of their "life" before being purchased are stored as .mmry_long, and may contain scent, touch, and location data, among other things. Other formats include mmry_real, for things the Unit has actually experienced, mmry_phys for "muscle memory", and .mmry_cmnd for active or past orders the Unit has received.

The second is that Chips can cleanly be installed into a human brain without causing the Chip's data to corrupt, and without damaging the brain's important functions. Granted, it does cause the brain's memories to be partially overwritten if there's already data on the Chip, but if a Unit comes onto the line with no Chip and a human brain, The Factory isn't going to question it. Its purpose is to create and repair Units, and if something is on the conveyor belt, it must be a Unit, so the overwriting of corrupt memories is considered a feature, not a bug. Not that the repaired Units are able to complain, anyway!

Body-swapped characters who find that, as the days go by without swapping back, their minds are slowly warping to match the body's original.

[For bonus identity-mindfuck I'd have characters keep their original memories but with the original body owner's views and perception "tinting" it. Character A-in-B's-body might have mostly good memories of character C but gain B's distrust of them and have C's flaws stand out more until they're convinced C was manipulating them all along.]
