Kakashis match

Your eyes were used to the dark so when light poured in from outside you couldn't help but let out a hiss at the pain it caused your eyes.From outside your cell you hear " We have a live one".

     Soon, you are released from your ratty cell to the outside. Leaf Shinobi gather around you, one with a scar down his face over his eye and white hair that seemed to defy gravity. One girl with pink hair and a yellow haired boy ran in." No, Sauske, I was so sure this time would be."

     After the older ninja, whose name you soon learn is Kakashi, calms the yellow haired ninja down, you learn they were looking for someone and came across you and those who watched you who they took out.

       You told them your story, you were Keiko Momoto, and you were captured when you were 12 because of your unique ability to regrow all of your limbs. Sakura, the pink haired girl, was skeptical she said she was a medical ninja, and regrouping limbs was impossible.Kakashi reminded her of some of the ninjas she has encountered and she agrees that maybe it was possible.

       It is soon agreed that the mission to find Sauske was a bust, but they would take you back to the Leaf Village Khona. Kakashi suddenly stopped Keiko. What village are you from anyway.You sigh ready for them to turn hostil knowing people seemed to dislike your village.

     "I'm from the village hidden in the shadows," you say timidly. Naruto and Saukra look confused, and Kakashi takes a deep breath.The Earth Village destroyed your village 20 years ago, not long after you were taken if I did my math correctly. I sigh. " So I'm saved but village less so alone.

     Naruto speaks up in his loud tone .  "You are not alone , believe it. You are part of the Leaf Village now. You can't help but smile at his nativity.You look up at Kakashi with a sad smile, and he knows you know the truth about the probability of what will happen, you will go to the village answer questions be given some supplies and escorted back out of the village but at least you'd have supplies.

    The trip to the Leaf village took 2 days, the little group trying to keep your spirits up the whole time Kakashi asking you questions to make for sure your no threat even though your Chakra was not threatening to him.

     You were taken directly to the Hokage, who you were told was named  Tusnade.She was very intimidating as you told your story she was extremely intrigued as you told her of your ability.

She took a minute to think, "Keiko  if you will alow us to experiment on you for medical purposes and after join our Shinobi ranks after being tested of course we will allow you to be a resident of the Village Hidden in the Leaves and have full citizen ship.

     As soon as you processed what she said, you were worried. " ma'am ill agree as long as you agree to use numbing agents before removing my limbs.He face grew tight." Of course im sorry about what happened to you, but we would never cause you to suffer like that.

    After a week, you fell into a comfortable routine, go to hospital, go eat lunch, and trained with Kakashi Naruto Saukra or their friends, then ramen and home.

What you didn't see was that the look in Kakashis' eyes changed from acceptance to more to longing, and he didn't know what to do about it.Kakashi couldn't belive it had been a year since they rescued you it seemed like last week.You quickly started to fit in Naruto loved you especially since you found that deal on instant Ramen and gave him a whole case.Saukra studied you every day under Tusnades watchful eye she grew to think of you as a friend and talked about everything with you.The rest loved you as well it seemed like you got along with everyone.Kakashi didn't know when he started to grow feelings for you but one day he was watching you training with naruto its a pretty even match till Naruto decides to power up soon your going through 3 trees before landing hard on your back.

Kakashis heart stopped he couldn't get to you fast enough that was the moment he realized he had feelings for you strong ones.He reached you and was relived to see you sitting up. (Rn)"are you ok".You nod " that was some hit tho a little harder and I wouldn't be". Naruto walks over " sorry (rn) I'm sorry sometimes I don't know my own strength. He didn't notice the look Kakashi gave him or he would have been scared.

Kakashi insisted taking you to the hospital it didn't take long before you were given the all clear.He walked out with you.Everyone at the hospital was surprised Kakashi normally only stayed at the hospital when he couldn't move this time he voluntarily stayed for you.He suddenly stopped so did you "Kakashi?" He suddenly turned tword you "Ramen would you like Ramen with me? Would you ĺike to get Ramen with me? I mean.You couldn't help but smile at his blood red ears and stumbling over words."Id love to Kakashi." He took your arm leading you tword the Ramen shop, which was surprisingly empty. He pulled back your stool for you, and he waited for you to sit before pushing you in.The Ramen kept walking up Kakashi ( readers name). Good to see you both. What will it be? Kakashi ordered the special not knowing what to order you order the same.Kakashi took a deep breath "( readers name) Would you please do me the honor of allowing me to court you?" To say you were shocked would be an understatement it took you a moment to compose your self when you do you lean in giving him a small kiss on the lips over his mask his whole face grows red. " yes Kakashi I would love that" He suddenly lifted you off the ground as tho you weigh nothing twirling you around before setting you down again his smile under his mask was very clear you were in a fit of giggles. You both return to the shack to eat when you finish and are heading back to your house when an Anbu landed in front of you both."You are both needed in the hokage office." He then disappeared. Kakashi grabbed your hand and you both disappeared in a whirlwind of leaves you both arrive in the Hokages office Tusnade doesn't seem suprised.You two I need you for a mission to the land of waves theres a meeting we must send representatives from the hidden leaf I have choices my top Jounin and our newest chunnin.You blush "forgot to tell you Kakashi I passed the chunnin exam". He smiled,"I know I was watching and.......I was very proud." A blush covered your cheeks. After you got the mission report and packed, you met at the village gates ready to depart on your jury with your new boyfriend Kakashi to the land of Waves.

A Brief History of Arm Removal in The Adventure Zone: Balance

For the purposes of this list, we’re defining arm removal as

an instance of a being/force removing or destroying the arms of another being while not destroying the rest of the body.

Legs/other appendages don’t count. (but are listed in honorable mentions for funsies)

Exploding/disintegrating/unmaking a being who has arms doesn’t count, since it destroys the whole body at once, not just the arms.

the arm does not have to be completely intact when it is removed e.g. #10

If the rest of the disarmed being’s body is targeted post-arm removal, that’s OK as long as the arm(s) were targeted first and separately. e.g. #2, #7

Day 19: Limb Removal

<DESIGNATION> shook. It was an involuntary action, the droid’s limbs too battered and plating shattered, resulting in faulty motor signals. The engine of the cycle growled hungrily at the opposite end of the alley, air thick with water vapor and ground slicked with gallium.

Violation of multiple traffic codes, destruction of City property, vandalism –

It turned its optics to the sky, ignoring the sickening crunch of the other CTRL unit’s leg being snapped at the knee joint, the gang members snickering and jeering as the unit crawled helplessly, curling in on itself.

District 47. The “Ultraviolent” district was drenched in black lights that set the tattoos of the gang ablaze against the inky black of night. The Deadzone kept <DESIGNATION> from sending an alert signal to <CTRL_CNTR>, but it had sent a report of disturbance before its patrol was attacked.

Reinforcements would come.

Eventually.

It picked itself up from the ground, an arm wrapped around its chest. The plating around its core was compromised. Its other arm hung limp; motor wiring severely damaged. There was a whir, the cycle barreling straight for the droid once more. 

At first dodging was simple, a mere act of simulations and projected velocity. But it was exhausted after hours of being battered by spiked bats and electrocuted by scrap-made tasers. It had been run down 23 times, each impact degrading its armor and interrupting attempts to establish a scan for <DRN>s.

The cycle easily plowed the droid over a 24th time, front wheel solidly impacting its right shoulder joint. At least it was the arm it couldn’t feel. The crowd of neon laced humans cheered, the rider skidding to halt at the end of the alleyway. No facial scans could be completed. All members either had disruptive tattoos or anti-facial recognition hardware.

It began to shake again, slowly turning to its stomach to lift itself off the ground. The onlookers always took it as a challenge. The droid was just trying to find a signal. The cycle’s engine revved again, and the CTRL unit prepared another simulation, cracked facial plate shuddering as it attempted to predict the cycle’s path and its best route of escape.

A small query blipped, unfiltered without the Net, passing through the droid’s processor. Self-destruction. But it was against protocol. A last resort. Civilian housing was too close. Too much damage to City property would result. Not worth the expense of a single CTRL unit.

<DESIGNATION> had hardly crawled to its knees when a weight forced it back to the ground, ventilation whirring as processing increased. Three individuals had surrounded the droid, one pinning down its body, another its still functional arm. The third held a hacksaw.

Protocol would not allow the droid to enter a shut down to avoid discomfort. As long as it did not encounter a system stress error, it needed to record and store the data files for <CTRL_CNTR> to retrieve with its body.

The other CTRL unit whirred; ventilation systems clearly damaged as smoke began to curl from its vents. The group had abandoned the crippled unit, circling the new spectacle of <DESIGNATION> instead.

“They take our hands and make us create our own oppressors!” The voice was strong and clear. The droid waited for Net connection to check with the criminal data base. “They make monsters of our labors, turning our blood, sweat, and tears into the very abominations you see before you.” The crowd was murmuring in agreement, glaring down at the droid.

“This thing cannot feel! Cannot think for itself! It is not alive, not human! But…it is not without value,” The speaker clicked their tongue, circling the droid in the street. “What is the only thing Uppers care about, hm? Do they care if it feels? If it knows right from wrong? No. All they care about is the credits, about their performance review for the State.”

The crowd booed, snarling and frothing at the speaker’s words.

“They might be able to write off graffiti and vandalism on their reports, count riots and our blood as minor insurrections in their archives, but the one thing they see, the only voice they hear, is the credits…the valuable credits in repairing and replacing these monsters they make.”

The speaker crouched beside <DESIGNATION>, hacksaw in their hands glowing orange as the laser blade spun to life.

“So let’s make them listen,”

The droid peered over its shoulder, neck joints wobbling as its optics connected with the speaker’s eyes through the cracked helmet. There was hate in their eyes, disgust and righteous anger bubbling beneath the smug and calm surface. Another query slipped through the unit’s processor, unhindered by the Net.

It probably deserved this.

<DESIGNATION> bucked as the blade hacked through what was left of its armor, biting into the sensor filled joint as it shredded the remaining motor wiring. Ventilation increased, screaming to reduce processing stress as the droid tried to dump the excess errors and alerts. Sparks obscured its optics, the world a dazzle of orange and gold and discomfort.

It was over quickly, hacksaw whining to a quiet and stress errors decreasing as the droid continued to shake, shrinking away as soon as the hands that had held it down lifted.

The droid curled in on itself, unsteady hand reaching for the severed limb and holding the useless piece of metal and armoring to its chest, protecting its fragile and overworked core. It was illogical, some query running through limb reattachment schematics and searching for the appropriate tools.

<DESIGNATION> kept its optics low to the ground, form small and pressed against the street curb. It waited for the speaker to raise their voice again, to rally the crown. It waited for the crowd to continue their tortuous jeering and laughter at the strong and efficient CTRL unit brought to its knees.

But there was quiet, the speaker staring at the droid with an expression it couldn’t decipher through the violet and gold tattoos. <DESIGNATION> stared back. 

With the rev of a light cycle engine, the chaos began anew.

Able was back on the streets. Sitting quietly at a traffic stop with a partner, scanning for traffic violations and checking in with <DRN>s. The reality was slow to sink in but potent, a poison stopping the heart suddenly after days of subtle exposure.

For some reason, Oz had let him go. Sent him back to the service of <CTRL_CNTR> with no daring plan of rescue or escape. Not a plan he cared to share with the droid, at least. Probably for the best, given that <CTRL_CNTR> would easily find any queries related to escape in Able’s circuits before he could fully process them. But the fact remained.

Oz hadn’t helped him. The man had carried out his orders as dutifully as a droid.

But it frightened Able more that Oz hadn’t reported his notable defect, which would get him scrapped for good. Free will was not a desired trait among those tasked with enforcing City law and suppressing insurrection.

All Able could do was increase ventilation and follow protocol, wondering if his trust in Oz and hope for rescue was sorely misplaced, or if the man who had saved him would be responsible for his destruction.

“Experiment 001 The disguiser”

While most people in these “Experiments.” have gone through some tragic incidents this victim was... Well they were a bit of a creep and while I don’t condone what happened. This person did have what was coming to them so to speak.

There are four incidents that happened at a movie theater. One shall not be shown as there was nothing paranormal about it and everyone in it has been deemed safe and sound. This incident has a more interesting turn of events.

An usher at this theater had just been hired actually at first they were a concessions person however according to an accurate source they “Fucked up really badly and did not know how to work a cash register after multiple times being told what to do.” So he was sent to work with the ushers.

At first the ushers placed him in working theaters and sweeping the rows of popcorn and napkins that would litter the place. How ever how he cleaned and worked bothered the ushers as he was quite awkward and really did not know how to work a broom very well. He also did not tie trash bags and my source really hated how he mopped (lets just say the spill was better off staying a spill.) He was put in charge of ripping tickets. He was so bad at it and would constantly let people in early that the managers had to ban him from ripping tickets.

Tensions between him and the others ushers were pretty high because the ushers really hated this guy and the managers constantly saw his faulty actions yet refused to do anything about it. (My source said they were low on ushers at the time) 

However nothing comes close to how creepy he was that he would constantly stalk the women of the work place. He always had his hands in his pockets when he was not sweeping and doing work. He would also take 30 minute long “Bathroom breaks.” (gross) His worst crime was towards a 16 year old girl and that he was 20. The girl gave this man her phone number. The man would not stop texting her non stop. The girl told the man she was not interested in him. This set the man off. This man was now plotting and plotting something sinister no doubt.

This man invited the girl to a trip to the mall and told no one about it... The man took the girl to a hidden changing room and... (my source cut off before she could say more here... Unspeakable horrors) When the man had finished his sinister deeds something then stabbed him in the back. The girl had a secret that no one had known. She had a monster that protected her... A monster that was disguised as invisible. 

The monster then ripped the man apart and quickly took it limbs for its own and made himself look like the man. Many of the ushers were fooled into thinking the Man made a complete turn around. But the more events that ensued as more Ushers kept dying made them realize that the man had secretly been dead for over 3 months by the time they knew. 

Only 2 ushers survived these 3 incidents now happily married to each-other but they have seen 2 other unspeakable horrors as well.

So since I imagine you've put some degree of thought into magic in OaLC, I thought I'd ask you a question I've had about the dark mark since I first read the books. Do you think dismemberment would do anything to the actual magic that connects the dark mark to the individual? The way you wrote it makes me think not, since it's so invasive. I'm not sure though. Obviously it's an overly traumatic method of treatment, but... it's not unbelievable that someone was desperate enough to try it.

I think the Dark Mark would just migrate. The way I constructed it based off of canon clues, it isn’t just in a single spot. It’s tied into someone’s core self, else it would probably be a lot easier to get rid of. So if you chopped off the left arm, the Dark Mark would migrate to the right arm. Besides, there have to be some Death Eaters that, like Moody, have lost limbs, and didn’t lose the Dark Mark in the process.

(Also I am still side-eying writers who use the limb removal method as a means of stopping zombie infection. Bacteria/viruses/contaminants that enter the bloodstream travel FAST.)
