I THINK WE SHOULD DO THE TINYCHAT SHINDIG ON TUESDAY!  It's my only actual day off from work.  We don't have to do it during the day though.

If we still want to do some chat shindig for FYDC, we could use tinychat.  Dunno why haven't thought of that before.  Also, it should be soonish what with Maggie starting college (;laksdjf;laksdjf yay!) and I having to go back to classes in a couple of weeks.  Of course it would all depend on all of our availability and whatnotness.

If so, do we want to do anything on the blog leading up to it, like the give away Maggie did with the playbill or the contest thing that never really went through? 

I was thinking that Pants Mod could have her own little section of the chat as well?

I'm just tossing around ideas right now because of sugar and lack of actual caffeine.  Feel free to ignore this.

Hi UFYH! I have a small, very itchy problem. I'm pet-sitting for a friend this week, and the dog got fleas in my apartment! I'm keeping it off the furniture (and I have no carpeting, thank goodness), but are there any ways to get the fleas out after I send the dog home? I want to avoid flea-bombing the place if possible.

Even though you don't have carpet, vacuum EVERYTHING. Furniture, floors, baseboards, tiny cracks and crevices, everything. Anything washable goes in the washer and dryer with the highest heat possible. And make sure you let the owner know, so they can treat the dog. Fleas are no fun for the pooch, either.

ETA: I totally forgot to mention the "throw out the vacuum bag or thoroughly sanitize the canister" step. That's important.
