Found this from a friend and it resonated with me, I tweaked it a little with my own thoughts and truths. The holidays are a tough time for a lot of us, not just me. . There is emotional trauma, stress, financial pressure, family drama, and so much more. . It takes it’s toll and sends us into a tailspin. . I try to be authentic, I’m working on it daily, I want to share some real life lessons to help you through the holidays. . 1. Don’t get out of your routine (it keeps you grounded) 2. Keep your diet clean (cheating causes an unwanted cascade of gut/brain problems) 3. Up your vitamin D3 4. Magnesium magnesium magnesium (before bed magnesium citrate, soak in Epsom salts to relax, drink your hydrate, take your IDnutrition and use the Bedrock Living Mg body butter to keep your body functioning) 5. Exercise - I hate this one, but the reality is movement raises our endorphins and it’s impossible to be depressed and exercising. Sunday I danced with my daughters for hours, it felt so goooood. 6. Sleep - this time of year, more than ever respect the circadian rhythm! Dark = sleep, sun up = wake, avoid artificial light like the plague 7. Forgive yourself 8. Forgive others 9. Do not forget YOU 10. Surround yourself with people, but not any people. Throw out toxic people and embrace those tribe members s who really “get” you. The holidays are filled with toxic people, set up boundaries and don’t feel guilty about protecting yourself. . I woke up today tired of how I have been feeling. . I’m working on new routines -speak positive affirmations. -get up and drink my slim+ and take my supplements. -read my Bible and devotions, pray. -walk every afternoon and pray, worship, make positive affirmations. -do my HITT workout two to three days a week, this is hard when healing fibromyalgia but so necessary . (There is more I’m working on) The trick is, making it a priority every day and that part is hard, I admit. . So we continue to work on it. But let the lesson be that we NEVER underestimate the importance of self care, nutrition, movement, sleep and community. “ #idlife #idlifenutrition #paleolifestyle #healthylifestyle #holidayseason #selfcare #rest #healthcoach https://www.instagram.com/p/BqTTu0ylE3K/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1hfjmlb59rm81
