this book certainly is... interesting. at the very least. from its title (2000 jokes never used in social situations) to actual content (sans the jokes that, in vanitas’ opinion, weren’t funny, the book held about 900 jokes.)
vanitas, so intently focused on scratching select jokes out of the book with a pen, bumps none too gently into someone’s back. “oof-- oh! sorry, monsieur, i didn’t see you there! are you all right?”
