I’d like to start this off by apologizing for how long we were gone without much notice. It’s been quite a few months, but many of our members’ personal lives interfered with keeping a consistent schedule.
With that said, Pleiades is officially disbanding and will no longer be putting out content on this page. Despite attempts at a revival, the motivation behind this group wasn’t there anymore, and we collectively decided that it would be best for everyone involved to move on. We all loved this group, and still love this group, which is why we wanted to end it together as is, rather than restart it with several new members. If we had, it wouldn’t really be Pleiades anymore.
There’s so many other things I could put here, but I’m going to sum it all up with “thank you.” Thank you to those who made this a wonderful experience amongst our members. Thank you to all fans of the group, who have supported us since the very beginning. Thank you to groups who grew alongside us and were inspired by us, who keep going and creating, for helping the community stay alive. There’s debts that can’t be repaid, and ones from all kinds of love fall under that category.
There will be personal goodbyes from most of our members, posted in the coming days (tumblr: once all of them on posted ig they will be posted on tumblr, still deciding formatting). This isn’t the last of our members, as many of us are continuing to do our own projects. Once again, thank you for the support over the last year, it’s sad to see this go but it was fun while it lasted.

Pleiades is honored and thrilled to be welcoming Ryouka Okita as our new pure, first year idol. Thanks to everyone who sent in an idol! This was a really tough decision and it was clear that everyone put a lot of work and love into their idolsonas. Congrats again to Arícia, we look forward to working with you!
We reached this decision not based on editing skill alone but on how well the idol would fit into the group. There were a total of 12 very nicely edited idols but we had to think about how well each girl would fit into the group and into her subunit, SubZeRo. Everyone’s submission was unique and beautiful, and we’re super excited to have Arícia as a part of our team.

Hello all! My name is Sarah Jackson, and my idolsona is Zora. I am the lead composer for Pleiades, and I am joined by the friendly and talented Jia-Han, who helps me write the music you’re going to be hearing from us soon. However, since there’s only two of us, we’re not going to be able to produce music at a very fast rate, which is why we decided to form a team of dedicated and talented composers to work together to produce more music, with the hope that we will reach a larger audience of people. If you are interested in joining our team of composers, read the description below!
This is not exactly an audition, we would instead rather review your work and make sure you would be a good fit for the team. There is no set amount of members we’re accepting and no deadline as of yet, so don’t feel nervous.
What are we looking for? Jia-Han specializes in rap and pop, and uses a MIDI guitar to play into Garageband. I focus on EDM/synth pop and orchestral pieces, and use Garageband and a MIDI piano for my work. We’re looking for someone who can do the things Jia-Han and I aren’t as good at: Rock music, slow songs, etc.
How to submit: Email us at [email protected] with a few links to your best works. These can be on Youtube, Google Drive, whatever. Chances are, I can figure out how to open it.

We are looking for 1 more person to join us with their idolsona (for more info, check blog).
We’re all nice human beings who like helping each other out with edits and chatting and we are all stuck in idol hell like everybody else, so don’t be afraid!
Your editing skills don’t really matter, we are looking for passion and creativity above all. As you can see, the ones at the top are our current idolsonas, but there is room for more! However, you should at least know how to sprite edit to join.
