For canon squicks... I'll settle on the projection of the IDW comics onto my world by many authors. My source is also quite close to what you'll see on screen so fanon influence in general makes me drift away(makes it difficult to approach doubles..).

I did not have empurata inflicted upon me, that was simply my face. I was not exposed to shadowplay, this is simply who I am. I was forged this way and find it deeply uncomfortable when it's implied I'm only like this because someone dug through my helm and made me this way- That I was somehow so uncybertronian that surely I must have been mutilated, that my thoughts could possibly not come naturally.

I respect any idw Shockwave out there, but I am not you. And all that said I believe you have more autonomy than people like to acknowledge.

Finding my old team hasn't been succesful so far. Honestly, I would sell off the biggest cannons I have to talk to Brawl or Blast Off again. They might have been huge asshoels, but that's how I like my team to be; nothing fake, nothing overly cute, nothing forced. I miss those guys, they're always a family.

Sometimes I wonder if I did enough for Drift. I miss him. I miss Dai Atlas, and Axe, our medic, our city. I miss so many things. But out of them all, Drift has left a never leaving mark on my spark. I wish to see him again, to hold him, to tell him how proud I am.

idw blurr here (also a lot of other blurrs but shh) and i just wanna say, swerve's great. i love his colors, i love his personality, i love how he liked earth stuff, his admiration for me was absolutely adorable. like?? whats not to love about swerve? 10/10 best bartender i've ever had the pleasure of existing at the same time as *chef kiss*
