I have so many mixed opinions about the Mercy (Arya 1) TWOW chapter because in all honesty it does make me uncomfortable (which I’m sure was the intention).

but it’s also a really interesting seeing Arya simulate into this faceless man role. The whole chapter is Arya basically playing a character and It’s interesting to see how Arya kinda dissociates into Mercy, while still getting certain lines that remind you that she’s still Arya. Like the line about how she couldn’t sew very well. It’s also crazy to compare how Arya is in this chapter to any of her chapters in AGOT. Her faceless man arc is genuinely really interesting to see and I’m so curious on how it will conclude.
