Man being The Quiet Kid in the classroom totally rocks because you’ll have a year where I’m not in a class with any of my friends and so I speak to literally no one for the entire year of that class and usually sit by myself for the entire year and then next year I’ll be in a class with one of my friends and I’ll sit next to them and chat to them and then the teachers will let me pair up with them and sit next to them because Oh My God They’re Actually Talking To Someone
#Thinking about the time in parents evening my maths teacher told me directly to my face that I needed to talk to people more :’)#It’s funny because over the years talking to nobody has gone from unwilling to willing#Like in like year eight I was super sad because I didn’t know how to make friends or talk to people and didn’t talk to anyone as a result#Of not knowing#Then in like year ten I didn’t know how to talk to anyone and was sad about that fact but was also super scared of everyone bc social anx#iety#But now I don’t talk to anyone except like my four friends bc social anxiety and I don’t know how to and yknow what? I’m chill with that#Hashtag character development#I remember though the teachers were always super proud when they saw me talking/being affectionate with my friends#The teachers were always so nice to me it’s lovely#Like I remember the time my physics teacher saw me crying and gave me the I love physics bracelet#That she gave out in every lesson to the student who’d done the best in physics for that lesson#You forever live in my heart Mrs [redacted]#Is this tmi??#I genuinely don’t know if it is or not#I’m gonna tag it tmi just in case#Tmi
