i said it in the tags of my last post but i just wanna reiterate that usually when i’m coming off as mean im just really cranky and am venting. most of the time once ive calmed down i delete what i said cause i genuinely don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. but that being said if i ever do offend anyone please just be an adult and talk to me about it ;-; i don’t like the passive aggressive back and forth it’s very exhausting

youre more than welcome to ask about it, but the username is quite old at this point and i dont remember much about when i picked it! im afraid if you wanted a comprehensive explanation of its meaning you would have had to ask me some several years ago aheh.. if it were up to me now i think i would have picked a different one!

lately I've been really thinking of my politics and that of my friends' which is so far removed from our local contexts. Like we have failed to keep our eye here while reserving our sight for the West.. knowing well enough that they have never cared about us... Not to say that people in the west do not deserve solidarity but American social media definitely enjoys some hegemony.. as a result the vocabulary and theory in our minds and on our tongues is losing relevance to our local contexts.. we have created our own sanitised spaces, insulating ourselves from atrocities against dalit-bahujans, atrocities against women who are not from rich upper caste urban spaces, the chomping and pillage of our natural heritage ..

im not as persuasive as id like to be, but just, please. we can make it through this.

personally, im lucky my mental state is not at the stage of an active suicide risk, yet i understand the woes of those who are. things like whats happening now can cause me to spiral deeper and deeper, but even at my lowest i have hope that i can survive. i truly have hope that you survive too.
