Kinich ships I like and why

Pixelshark (Kinich/Mualani): My OTP for Kinich and one of my fave Mualani ships. I like their personality dynamic + their interactions on screen and I like the idea of classic friends to lovers. I like how even though on the surface Kinich is this deadpan, tough individual and Mualani acts super cheerful and carefree, she's clearly the dominant one between them (seriously, go rewatch the AQ and 5.X events and count how many times Malipo "Everything has a Price" Kinich does something with no payment and no resistance because Mualani asked or even just vaguely hinted at it). Their color palettes also go nicely together and they share an interest in sports. I could go on.

Ifanich (Kinich/Ifa): Not my first pick for either of them, but still an underrated pairing. I liked their casual and funny interactions in 5.6; They have this sense of ease around each other that comes with knowing someone for a long time. They'd be a chill, mature, relatively private couple- you wouldn't even know they were together until one of them mentioned it off-handedly or you asked. They're both workaholics, so I think they'd keep each other from pushing themselves too hard. The saurian vet x hunter dimension also has potential to be interesting.

Lionpixel (Kinich/Gaming): This one is conceptual more than anything as they've yet to interact in canon, but I find the idea of it cute. Gaming's day job is similar in nature to the courier work of the Scions of the Canopy, giving them some common ground. Kinich also dances according to some old promo material, so more in common there. Like with pixelshark, the energetic x quiet dynamic is always fun. Gaming's finances miiiiight give Kinich an aneurysm but tbh, Gaming could use someone whose good with money in his life lol

Kinich/Traveler: Obligatory traveler x character ship, I know. The end of his Tribal Chronicle is what sold it for me. Kinich is a very honest person and that scene between him and the traveler was the semi-rare example of the sincere, earnest side of that honestly rather than the blunt side we usually get. It's sweet. He also clearly seems to trust traveler a lot. Given that Kinich's profile stories imply that he still believes his mother is alive, they can relate to each other to an extent about searching for their missing family members. I don't really have a traveler preference for this ship; There's no significant difference in dialogue or animation between the travelers when it comes to their interactions with Kinich. I play as Aether though, so when I think about their interactions that's who I'm usually picturing. Kinich is a pretty independent person, so I don't think the traveler's constant moving around Teyvat would be a huge problem for him.

There are some other Kinich ships I've seen and liked, but these are the only ones I've given a decent amount of thought to. There are also a few Kinich pairings I just prefer through a platonic/familial lens yk
