Between your fic and ''the firebender’s guide to living life after destiny'' i feel SO MUCH. Like, it's a specific conversation, discussion and exploration about decolonization, post-colonization and how it would look like if the imperial force actively recognised the process ... it's just such an interesting and touching topic for me personally as someone from the global south. I don't know, I want to leave a long ass comment bc I genuinely think you've used fantasy the way it can be used: as exploration of topics without being a 1:1 copy of real life stories while still remaining humane and careful and touching. I just feel a thousand ways about it, IT'S VERY DIFFICULT TO PIN IT DOWN, but you've made something super special!
