You can also look into breathing awareness exercises. Not Catholic, but not other religions either.

yeah a lot of the sleep meditations i like have that kind of guided breathing aspect to it --honestly most meditations aren't really religious at all (some mention of the third eye occasionally which i still can't figure out what that is maybe beyond like...the frontal lobe but i refuse to research more)-- i jsut get weird about words like hypnosis and then like....what if they're saying things while i'm asleep that I don't Like and are Dangerous lmao
